Romantic comedy movie marathons
Several channels are running them for Valentine's Day. Not usually my thing, but I have managed to wathc a few. Some are just way too sappy, but some are pretty good.
I actually kinda liked "How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days"
Any you like?

Re: Romantic comedy movie marathons
I could not really think of any off the top of my head except Pretty Woman as it aired tonight, and Raising Helen.
Pretty Woman , 1990, I watched years ago and didn't care for or see the big deal. I'm not fond of Richard Gere or Julie Roberts, but I've watched it again and it is not bad.
Raising Helen, is with Kate Hudson, and it is a a heartwarming movie comedy.
So then I Googled "Romantic Comedies". My favorites......
Splash, Daryl Hannah, and Tom Hanks.
50 First Kisses with Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler.
Oh, and one I doubt anyone has seen, The Truth About Cats & Dogs (1996),
Uma Thurman, Janeane Garofalo, and Ben Chaplin.
And, here is one that was very popular, Urban Cowboy. Whatever...... !!!

Yes Kiss:
Truth about Cats & Dogs was a good one, and think you are meaning 50 First Dates? Have yet to see Urban cowboy yet.
Yes Chazzy Notebook is really good. Another good one is Message in a bottle.

Re: Romantic comedy movie marathons
Maybe this isn't a comedy, but I thought of it after my initial post. The movie is "Dirty Dancing", with Jennifer Grey and Patrick Swayze. The first time I watched it I wasn't impressed and my sister didn't like it at all! I mean, "Baby"?
I've watched it since and parts of the movie are okay.
