I think YOU need to be happy with the decision first. If there is a regular partner you may want their imput. As for me, I think it may vary with the periods that come into your life. Most younger woman want to be completely shaved in that area. I for one can understand that choice, but as a man wanting a woman... underscore woman... am not looking for a "child"... which often is given as the appearance of a completely shaved pubic area. We go through puberty, the growth of hair on those parts of our body are a sort of badge of adulthood. When I see someone completely shaved, makes me think, there's something they feel isn't right if they let hair grow, so they shave. Overall be happy with your own body, and really it needs to start there.

I've tried it all. If I have a partner that has a preference I do consider his preference. I generally find I like best exactly as you have stated. One slip and I can't even think about the pain.Most of you guys can't even shave your own faces without cutting yourself and you do that everyday.Besides I don't think you all realize that things like which shaving gel and lotion, direction, etc. we use and where it should or shouldn't go is also important. I bet at least half you guys shave with just soap and water.LOL There has to be a lot of trust and discussion before anyone gets to shave me.

I am allergic to pain. I waxed my legs with no problem. I tried a bikini wax once. NEVER AGAIN! U can not imagine the pain. I have tried just about everything and waxing is the one thing I said I will never do in that area again.

As far as shaving it don't have to b shaved but trimed atleast specially if u want a guy to eat you out bc the hair gets stuck in your teeth and that ain't good. As far as a guy shaving his gf or wife I do on a regular baseis bc it ends up in her getting Horney an then we just go at it.

I don't live in the jungle so at least trim. You can also make shapes (i.e. V, M, peace sign) of your patch by trimming....it adds character! I also like those women who are clean shaved, but have a tattoo where hair once was. Character galore
