GAS
What the fuck is up with the gas prices? You know it took a 125 dollars to drive back and forth to work this week for me. Pretty soon I will be working to put gas in my truck. Who voted for Bush bastards. I mean this is getting fucking rediculous wouldn't you agree. Gas is 2.68 here in Michigan. What's everyon else paying? If your paying more maybe it will ease my pain.

Round my neck of the woods it bounces around depending on the day of the week, butt as of today most stations are $2.49, 2.59 and 2.69 for premium. And as much as everyone bitches, the stations are always busy. In fact it seems the higher the prices go the more cars are in line to buy.

Re: GAS
Prices are about the same here too, DEye, and I know whatcha mean about the stations always being busy.
For some reason, people here in my area panic easily, they line up at the gas stations filling their tanks and gas cans at just a hint of any global disturbance, or any prediction of snow, rain, flashflooding, highwinds, etc...they also clear out the grocery store shelves, fearing they may never get another chance to drive their pick-ups into town for more provisions.....

They probably are in fear of not being able to drive their trucks again.I'm getting that way too.

Re: GAS
We are pretty lucky in Georgia - low gas taxes. That helps a little. One thing about Americans, we are gonna drive our cars if gas is $100 a gallon!

Re: GAS
Well here your screwed...your shopping and wallymart are 50 miles away, the closest gas is 22. You have to plan your trips and can only go every 2 wks. Gas went up 10 cents yesterday alone. By the time you leave town you already spent around $400. Can't do that very often.

On any given day I have to drive at least 40 miles. That's a nice chunk of change. What can we do about this..hmm it looks like nothing we have to drive

Re: GAS
Actually it's not...it cost about one third more for heating water, home heating etc. I know cause my dad retired from the power company and told us to switch to propane. Also there talking about deregulating the power companys again, and if they do "Holy Shit Batman'....

Re: GAS
Here in Va gas is around 2.35 reg, and 2.55 premium. My car takes premium, gets about 20mpg. the Durango averages 12 mpg. I live 50 ft from work, still manage to use $20 to $30 a week .cigarettes are $3.47 but go up every couple weeks. My heat is propane, cost about 350 last year for heat so i guess 700 this year.

Unless you can get some sorta break from the electric co. for heating I'm thinking its jsut as expensive or more, and I've herd it's not as 'warm' and 'cozy' as gas. Don't know for sure about electric vs gas butt I do like the part about keeping you warm
