Favorite Gifts
Now that the Holidays are pretty much behind us and we settle back into normalcy, I wonder what was your favorite gift that you received? And also, what was your favorite gift that you gave?
I got a copy of Keith Richard's autobiography, which I'm looking forward to digging in to.
I gave an acoustic guitar to a certain little 2 year old. She started strumming it like a midget rock star and sang at the top of her lungs. When she finished, she turned and pointed to her Great Grandmother and said "CLAP!" Then she looked at everybody else in the room and asked "Want more?"

Plane tickets to Hawaii. My parents are flying me out to see them, I haven't been out there in about six years, so I only ever get to see them when they visit here.
I'm really excited

A nice meal, and good times with old friends. Saving a pup from having its life cut short.

I have Keith's autobiography. Do you really think remembers everything in the book? And, I hope the 2 year old can grow up and really play!

Re: Favorite Gifts
Well Ma and I were not to get each other nothing, as we bought a 42" TV. I guess since I didn't text or e-mail her, she didn't get the message. Bad girl she is, so went and got me a nice Bulova watch. She pulled the same stunt that I did when I gave her, her watch. I forgot to pull the price tag off the box. She pulled the tag off the box, but forgot the tag on the watch. Ops. LOL

Re: Favorite Gifts
The best "material" thing I got is definitely my Kindle Fire.It was a combination of people chipping in and me paying the rest.I was waiting for them to come out with the color Kindle for a long time. I don't need to use a book light anymore either when reading in bed so now Kam can sleep with out a light shinning in his face.
As for best gift I have given. That is hard to say. I always try to pick out things that the person really would love or need.I think the one that was the most "Perfect" for the person was a small thing I got for my brother and his wife. It was a door mat that said "A pilot and a normal person live here." If you knew them you would totally understand why that was so perfect for them.
I can honestly say that everyone got at least one thing that I think really was perfect for them this year. Even the cats got stuff they were excited about. It was funny seeing them on Christmas morning. The kitten was so confused about all the commotion and why we were now ripping all the things open that we made him stay away from for weeks.lol
