very interesting read , and being a electronic tech I'm glad i didn't have to deal with all the fabrication back in them days. as a young punk i had enough problems keeping the speakers working and the 8 tracks fom being ate....

very good read ! wow and now i'm 42 and have almost 4gs in the sterio in my show truck think about how long that would have taken back the to put in !!!

was just read tonight that new car will no longer come with cd players or dvd players any more

Be mindful now, cause radios in cars are soon going to need to be replaced. With the world going digital, radio isn't far behind. The technology already exists, Walmart already has them for sale. Analog will soon be replaced and that old car radio will need a new one. Oh and while I'm at it...GM has a system in cars that requires a four digit number whenever a radio is messed with in that car. So if you buy a new radio thats not GM's, you"d better be ready to pay a hefty service call charge...
