Re: SOPA bill....
If it passes the internet will change as we know it if I understand it right. My daughter has been following it in school with her class and there are some very strong opinions on it. The problem is the people that vote on this, in my opinion are to out of touch to understand the impact if they pass them. With all the issues this country has I don't understand why this is at the top of the list and people aren't screaming at the top of their lungs at their representatives. We should all be writing letters to not pass these and get to work on the shit that needs to be done now.

Re: SOPA bill....
What they lack is that many people will lose jobs. google, youtube, and other sites will shut down. most likely if they don't set up a new head quarters (meaning they prepare to lay everyone off, pay the cost to move everything. hire new worker, buy a new location etc.) the internet will be dead.
gamers won't be able to show off there skill, if you a fan artist you can show your drawings and paintings. You like to sing government don't care unless your singing someone elses songs.
Many people sample cd tracks of new artists and such to see if they are worth buying, same with games and movies.(ignoring the pirates that steal and never buy) People like that won't end you buying stuff since sometimes the reveiws are too mixed or may not do enough justice. Seeing is believing. The ecomney was bad before, this bill will make it worse than it was. the only people that benefit is really hollywood and other producers, people with money. It's just that they want thousands of people to lose income, maybe go through losing their homes again.
