The Thrill of the Hunt!!
So, how do you all choose who to send messages to, do you use a search feature and hunt specifically? Or maybe just see "who's online" in hopes for an immediate response? Do you just look at the pictures or actually read their profile and base your choice on their written words?
When you're in chat, and someone pops in, do you check their profile to see who you're talking to, and do you just go with the flow of conversation?

We just usually check the persons profile to see if there looking for the same thing as us. Pics help but it's the written word we check. Then once in awhile there's always 'the what the hell' ..shot in the dark...

um I don't send messages... it's the price I pay for being too damn tight with my wallet.
I've sent an occasional naughty note based purely on the luck of a hot girl catching my eye by being online at the time. not like I expect anything out of it other than attempting to say "you're hot"
btw... can we get a naughty note that says that?
Just wanted to say, I think you're hot!

Any one have anything to add to this? Do you use the "naughty matches" ,search ads feature, or just cruise the who's online list? Is their geographic location an important factor?

Well since most of the women in my area haven't been checking their mail since 2003, I guess I look at the pictures first. if I like what I see, I read the profile. If all goes well, and they aren't looking for only females, I check the date of their last entry. If that passed the test, I will send a naughty note.
As far as geographical location goes, I try to find the closest one first. I don't know about anyone else, but for me, long distance relationships tend to suck, especially with the price of gas now a days. Unless they are looking for a one-night-stand, shorter trips are prefered, and until I hit the lottery, it's going to stay that way. If I had my way, I'd visit all the lovely ladies in every part of the globe, but since that requires mucho denario, I will have to work on the locals until I can make the big bucks...

I've sent a few notes myself too, but I do it based mostly on what the ad says and that's because the chance of actually meeting someone is very slim since I live quite far from everyone else so it doesn't really matter whether they are good looking or not. Of course I don't get any replies, but I don't really care cause I've met such great people in the forums

That would be all of the above. When in chat, I do look at profiles as I think it's nice to see who I am chatting with. Yup, I do actually read the profile.

I don't go through skimming people's profiles unless there's curiosty in me that wants to see something. Like someone would mention to another, "hey, great picture" then I might want to take a peek. Otherwise, if I'm in a nice mood, I'll send someone a note, "hey.. you caught my attention for the moment" and be done with it.
