nobody ever in the chat room
How cum there is never anyone in the chat room.I'm begining to wonder does this site actually connect people.I see only about 20% of the people on here are V.I.P's so what's the catch am i missing something. If so tell me. And if not we should agree all to meet at the chat room at a certain time and have a naughty chat time thing. I vote for 10.00p.m. est any other votes or quotes. Please.

Mainly because of all the different time zones and peoples schedules, if your lucky you can catch someone. That and most people are to shy to talk...it's the age old question.

I'm repeating myself but here it is, str8 up....Some people use the chatroom for cybersex and wankin', others use it for more casual flirting, and conversation. I'm in the latter group, I just don't like having public sex with strangers, cybersex to me is a private thing I only do with people I've gotten to know and like. I do not oppose cyberwankinsex in the chatroom, I'm for it, I encourage it, I expect it, I insist on it, I demand it.
So simply put...the wankin' people can annoy or scare off the casual chatters , and the casual chatters can bore and frustrate the wankers.
The thing is to know who it is you are talking to in the chatroom.
The online world isn't really that much different than the offline world. It's full of all kinds of people, looking for all kinds of things and just want their individual differences and preferences respected.
We do occaisionally, start a thread, or use an existing one, in "general discussions" stating what times we are availble for chat, even what kind of chat we are looking for. (Which you have already done with this post!)

Promlem is, most people seem intimidated by real-time communication in written form. Another obstacle is timing. I don't chat past 5p Central because my wife, who is a prude, would freak out.
The chatroom is one of the great things about this site. No pop-ups, spammers and the screenames have full profiles so you can get to know who your chatting with.
It's a mystery worth solving.

Hey, I don't mind repeatin' myself, I was just apologizing to anyone and everyone who may be tired of hearing my opinion.
You've done a good thing by bringing up the subject again, it needs to be refreshed often so this prob can hopefully be worked out. Maybe what the chatroom needs is people with the initiative to bring others out to make use of it!

It is not easy to "get to know" people through the postings. Most of the time, when posting on the forum you feel like you need to be funny or slutty - which is fine and fun, but it is not the best way to get to know somebody enough to want to talk to them 1:1.

We've had members like Bawbie, who use to tell us stories of her and her family, and her family pets, and even one about an amputated leg...moonhowler used the forum often to rally support for the protection of wolves....other's use it to share jokes....talk about music....
ask advice....discuss hobbies and sports....
I dunno, I feel like I'm getting to know you a little already. I know it's a tired old cliche`, but hell, be yourself....we'll luv ya for that!

Anytime you can get my attention AM Central during the week. Lately I've had a little following at a chatroom just for married(frustrated/horny) people and I can't get seem to get away from there.
I'd rather talk to someone I'm at least aquainted with.
I'll start hanging around a bit looking for you.
