Who's Gonna Replace Regis?
I sent in my resume, but havent heard anything. But I have my fingers crossed!

If you mailed in your resume, it's probably been held up at Homeland Security, until they confirm that the powdery substance is not anthrax but just Cheeto dust.

They just called. They said that the only way I would be considered is if I would sign a contract saying that I wouldnt eat them just before the show or on the set. They were afraid that there would be orange crumbs on Kelly. So I got that goin for me.

I was offered a local cable show at one point and I just laughed. My question to the head of the station was "Do you really want to give me a forum to speak my mind? If the answer is yes, I am assuming that you have another job offer somewhere else." He just laughed. He laughed almost as hard as I did when I was asked to run for local office in our town.

So are we being "sarcastic" here? Lol. I'm sure if you are then you're the same people pushing for more Joy Behar and Ellen DeGeneres. Or perhaps you want more reality tv like "Say yes to the Dress"???
I for one can tell you I'd much rather have more of Regis than any of the crap TV programmers are filling our airwaves with.
Sure Regis is just a personality like many others. But it says something about a person who works to put his heart into a show for the betterment of those who seek that entertainment release and value.
No he's not a Dr. Phil, or Dr. Oz and thank God he's nothing like Oprah.
He's an 80 year old man who gave over 50 years of his life trying to bring some enjoyment and his brand of entertainment. Not everyone will be a Regis fan and it's ok. But hey this IS still America. Love him or hate him, just remember he started out a simple boy from the Bronx, NY. Who worked hard for himself and his family and accomplished his version of the American Dream. I have to admit I'll miss watching him in the mornings. There have been many days lately, his warm familiar entertainment helped brighten a few of my pretty bleak mornings

5. You have to sit with the occupy Wallstreet peeps during your time out of the studio.
