Favorite Christmas Carol / Song
A lot of radio stations have already begun their "All Christmas" format. Usually, by Christmas, the last thing you want to hear is Christmas music. So it doesn't need to be a favorite, necessarily, but at the very least, one that you can hear that doesn't make you want to throw your radio against the wall. One for me would be "Do They Know It's Christmas Time" by Band Aid.

Re: Favorite Christmas Carol / Song
I gotta say I've always loved "Father Christmas" by the Kinks, not the most joyful song, but just love it.
Another one, I think is by Ian Anderson? Anyone know that Christmas song, can't think of the song title right now.

Re: Favorite Christmas Carol / Song
I could be wrong, but has'nt it become traditional that "The Wizard of Oz", is shown a lot in the holiday season? Whatever, so with that, "Somewhere Over the Rainbow". Not the one in the movie, but the late Hawiian guy (forgot his name), just him and his uke. Very nice.

No kiss, I thought it was Don Ho, for a long time. I showed up un-armed with his name. I should googled it again. He was very heavy-set, and died relatively young. He did'nt have a house-hold name, so I can't remember it.

Re: Favorite Christmas Carol / Song
I LOVE Christmas and Christmas music!!
Hard to pick just one favorite. For the tradional Christmas Carol hymn, I'd pick "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing". For the secular Christmas song, I've always loved "Silver Bells".
