Pulling from the Farmer's Almanac Calender of "Best Days"
Yes this will be a daily thread.
Best Days calendars are explained by "Farmers' Almanac tradition, when the moon is in the appropriate phase and place in the zodiac, it's widely believed that activities will be more fruitful or lead to improved results."

I can honestly say that castrating farm animals never even entered my thought process.

I was kind of wondering the same thing about castrating the animals.I know my cats weren't to happy the first time. I have a feeling they wouldn't be going back for seconds, never-mind third or fourths. I don't think they grow back last I checked.

When I did live out there, among the farming community, had to have the wall calendar every year with the moon/zodiac signs.
Each moon phase was assigned an area of the body. If you had a toothache, you wanted to plan the dentist trip when the sign was in the feet...the furthest away from the head.
It was suppose to mean less bleeding and complications.

Hmmm. Andy mentioned "slepping" with another. Call me naive, but I never have gotten it. Where the hell did that term come from anyway? When I'm in bed with a lady, I'm there to sleep, have sex , or both. Is'nt one different than the other? Plz excuse me, I've lived a very sheltered life. Dammit!
