A kept Secret?
It's a little thing really, but my father has always had this crude little amateur tattoo on one of his upper arms.
It's a heart with his initials, and initials that are not my mothers. Of course as children, we are all curious so each of us siblings would ask about the tattoo. Dad and Mom would just clam up and make sure we understood to never ask about it again.
I'll never know the story behind that tattoo, gotta admit...I would love to know just because he's my dad and I would love to know everything about him.
Ya got anything similar? Something you've always wondered about, but you're sure you'll never know?

Well, this was a well kept secret, and I know of it now.
While growing up, we asked our parent's, "How long have you been married?" The answer usually took awhile and went something like this, "Well, George is 17, so we've been married 18 years."
I never picked up on this, but obviously it struck a cord in my oldest brother, George. He talked me into breaking into mom's lock box. He couldn't do it, because well, he is perfect, and has no backbone.
I found their marriage certificate and sure enuff, he was born Aug. 1959, and they were married June 1960.
Seems they couldn't get married before then because he was already married.

My x and I mention our anniversary was close. My oldest son asked how long? When my wife told him, 13 years. He did the quick math in his 13 year old head and said "you mean?". So of couse we confessed, he was 4 months "premature". 8lbs 13.5 ozs. Hmmmm?

I've always wondered how they get all that jelly in a jelly dough-nut without it exploding. Every time I ask, they go silent. I guess I'll never know the answer to that one...

And the big secret, when it's called for, I DO wear clothes. But the bigger secret is, when I'm dressed, I'm just hiding my nudity under my clothes, and other's can't tell. Sneaky huh?

Don't know, have'nt seen her in year's. She did seem to like it when we mixed up baby batter. Yuk, yuk, yuk.
