first snow
Here in upstate ny we have gotten our first batch of the white stuff, and no I don't mean cum,lol Thank god it was not 5 to 12 as predicted only turned out to be a couple inches. I know you ladies are not happy about only a couple inches, lol

Where I am at the shore we only had some flooding.I have family at the higher elevations on the other side of the state and they got 17 inches of snow. But the worst was really the areas that got less snow in terms of inches but a denser heavy and wet snow. There were down trees and power lines all over the place. The governor declared a state of emergency last night. Personally I declared this state a disaster area but that has nothing to do with the storm.
Did I mention I HATE winter! I makes me hurt and I can't do a damn thing about it. I think the doctor should make it mandatory I spend my winters on a tropical beach somewhere warm and pretty with a guest.

yea you should see boardstreet like every tree had broken branches. my aunt lost power and i heard someone at work folks have to go to a motel cuz power will b restored wednesday.

Yeah Chunky the further north you are in the state the worse it was. Broad street is a mess on a good day. I used to work at a go-go bar there many years ago(25). It was called The French Maid South.They had another in Carteret. I worked there too.Anyway I heard there were a lot of power issues and now they are saying it could be a week before some people are back online. I think they say that so if you get your power back sooner they can say "We did such a great job. You should be happy we got you on earlier than expected."lol
Just think this is only October.You will be happy to know I will make sure I have all the winter weather supplies early. That usually means we wont have any snow.When I run out of salt pellets we get a huge storm the next day.

went though that stuff last year no power thanks to the wind and wet snow, no gas for the generator , no propane for mr heater , no heat, steal water from the fish tanks to flush with. was glad for the colman stove and a can of gas for it and little propane tanks for the other one too..
then walmarts want 10 bucks a gal for colman gas too... ohh check you anti freeze too
