Being Faithful...
An old man was on his deathbed when he called his wife of more than 70 years over to his side. She leaned down to hear his weakened voice. "My dear, I want you to look in the closet in the downstairs hallway. In the back you will find a bushel basket. In that basket you will find some kernels of corn...each kernel represents a time that I was unfaithful to you in our marriage."
The man dozed and the wife, overcome by curiosity, ran downstairs. In the hall closet she found the basket. Inside were four kernels of corn and a roll of hundred dollar bills. She went back to her husband.
"My darling husband...I found the basket. There were four kernels inside...which means you strayed four times in 70 years...that isn't so bad. But I don't understand the roll of hundred dollar bills..."
The husband looked her in the eye and said, "Well...every time I got to a bushel, I'd sell."
