Your dorkiest thing or guilty pleasure?
You know every one has at least one really dorky thing about them-self or a guilty pleasure that you hate to admit.Maybe its a band you really like or just a song that you just can't help but to blast and sing along to at the top of your lungs even if you can't sing. Maybe it's an obsession to a really stupid TV show or movie.Every one has them. So what are some of yours?(Past or present)
I'll start. I was a HUGE David Cassidy fan when I was really young. I think I was 11 or 12. I was even the president of a very small and very short lived David Cassidy fan club. I think it lasted 2 meetings.Laugh if you want but he had great hair!lol
Now, it has to be my love for some really corny and absolutely ridiculous vampire books that I love more because they are written with some great sarcastic humor. This writer has a great sense of humor and I love some of her stuff but the books are so corny , actually it's the titles that are the real problem ,I am embarrassed to even ask for them in the book store , so most times I just order them and have them delivered to my house.Poor Kam went to the book store with me last time one of her books came out. I had to use the ladies room so I asked him to hold the book. He looked and it and said "Am I really supposed to walk around the store with a book called Sexiest Vampire Alive?" I really did feel bad. But he did it so I know he loves me. lol

Ah, done a lot of "Embarrassed to admit it" threads over the years, can't really remember what I posted before.
Currently, I'd say it's watching "The Waltons" on the Hallmark Channel. Missed it when it originally aired and I love history and antiques so I often find myself lost in all the props in the show. (Baldwin sisters wear some gorgeous brooches)

Aside from my obsession with shoes, my true guilty pleasure is four inch stilettos...
My dorkiest thing is watching Gene Simmons Family Jewels. I love the family dynamics...

Ya know, I never really liked Gene Simmons show, but I did watch the series of episodes where he went to Israel.

Re: Your dorkiest thing or guilty pleasure?
Dorkiest admission ever is I just read this thread and realized, I love watching the Waltons and have been addicted lately(Although a different network). I also like Gene Simmons Family Jewels but not a regular watcher of the show.I do find that family more "real" than most.(In general I hate reality shows.)Do we really have to discuss my obsession with shoes and/or boots. Then there the fact that I have the album with Kam mentioned and I have VERY few albums.(Yes albums! For you under 40. Those are usually flat black round things that you used to listen to music from when they were placed on a record player before CD's.Don't make me get into cassettes and 8 tracks!)Now I can't leave out that I really like some of the kids shows and find some more intelligent than than many of the shows written for so called adults.Tinkerbell is great she is such a smart ass. You have to love her. My only saving grace is at least I don't have to hang my head in shame and say I like/watch Jersey Shore or Paris Hilton.(Sorry Kiss.)I just can't stand either of them. It's bad enough when I have to deal with the idiots from the Jersey Shore when the are taping down here. Trust me calling them idiots is a compliment compared to how I really feel about them.
