Damn auto correct!
As everyone that has ever read my posts or chatted with me in the chat room knows I am really bad at spelling and typing. I thought spell check was a god send when it came out. When our computers and phones had auto correct on them I thought "Now we are talking!". In theory these things were going to make it seem like I had a brain.Or at least half a brain.
Now I have some issues with spell check and auto-correct. First is that I spell so badly that I confuse these programs.That's when you really know you're a bad speller.Worse than that is that auto-correct in particular changes my words to things that seem to always be embarrassing. It's like auto-correct has a dirty mind and a sense of humor.My phone has sent the most inappropriate text messages that I will never live down (Because my kids and other family members save them!).
I know there is a web site dedicated to this so, at least I know I'm not alone.By the way if you ever go to the site be prepared to laugh so hard that tears will roll down your face.
Being that everyone that sends or receives texts seems to have come across some of these lets see them. What are some of your funniest or strangest auto-correct texts ?
My son was trying to text me saying he was going to run to work for a quick "sec" and will be right back. I got "I am running to work for a quick "sex" and will be right back".I just replied "To much information but thank you for letting me know you wont be gone long."
I told my son to check if his "scrotum" is full instead of his "school" is full.
I have several others I will post a few as we go along. I just want to know why they are always so inappropriate and always sexual in nature? I think it was programmed this way by someone with a sense of humor. They never auto correct to some innocent word.You know I'm right. I have learned to wear my glasses and read before I hit the send button. They still get by me once in a while when I'm busy and not thinking about it.

"Damn you auto correct" and "Texts from last night" will have you laughing so hard you will have to shut it down just to breath.
I have gotten to the point where I try not to send a text unless I wear my glasses and read it twice before I hit send. Especially when sending it to my family.

aways have to proof read stuff, i look at them sometimes and think is that even the right word?my spelling never been great cant hear too good and now the eye lol
aways got to have spell checker i cant spell for beans
alot of sites dont have that u can edit your post after you post , its nice
