My son finally finished mowing the back and front lawn. I don't have to have that fight tomorrow. Hallelujah!
Now if I can get my other son to get his jeep out of my driveway and all the crap that goes with it so it doesn't look like the Sanford and sons set I will really be happy.
Now,If my ex would pay some child support I might even dance around. My heart might not take that much of a shock.
One thing at a time. I will just bath in the happiness of the lawn being done.

Deleted my in, out, and trash box here, to start out fresh again. All done via my mobile, as it's all I use, and it took some time. I feel it's new years day, and starting at zero. It's refreshing. Now I get to start a whole new bunch of crap. lol

I have incontrovertible proof that links cops to donuts!.. Today I witnessed a cruiser flying up a major route only turn into a donut shop... With light and sirens blaring, he left a wake of cars facing in every direction except straight in his path of his pursuit of those most holiest of treats...

So glad to hear you're happy Goody. You don't NEED to have have a Mr. Wonderful. You're wonderful without him. But he can be a nice real bonus.lol
I always tell my children you are complete without a partner. (I always hated that line "You complete me".)It's just a bonus to have a partner. Also if you are going to do things for someone you love, do it because you want to, not because they might not stay with you if you don't.
I love being in a relationship that I feel we are both happy with our lives and being together just makes us happier.I hope you have the same as you go forward. You have more than earned it.

Re: Tell me something good...
I just moved south till Feb or March...still in Mi. but less snow and not as cold. So that's a great thing! Back in a apartment which is okay but miss the house already....it's waiting till I return. While in the lobby of the office here there was a lady with the little girl...not even talking yet. I am a sucker for kids and she looked at me, I said "Well hello there!"...should could have reacted in any manner though kids usually like me, cuz well...I am one! But the BIGGEST smile lit up on her face, eyes wide open....awesome. Gifts that are free...many see little or no value to such things. I see them as treasures...oh and HELLO everyone!

Re: Tell me something good...
One of my customers asked me if I wouldn't mind giving him a hand. I said, "Sure!" and then I whistled and clapped my hands, did a few cheers and such. He smiled and threw the box wrench he had in his hand right at my head! Good thing, for me, his aim was as good as his luck. I ducked as it past by. It hit the floor with a loud, "Klang!" before it bounced up and took out a garage window. We stood there in shock for a moment, before I broke the awkward silence.
"Nice shot if you were trying to do that." I said.
"I was aiming for your head..."
"Well you missed." I added.
"Please go now, Smartass." forgetting he wanted me to wiggle a tire while searched for the loose bolt. I got a call back later asking me to go back over there and help again. This time he said nothing, only smiling a lot...

Wow, that can be fun! I've done that off and on with one guy. I would get so nervous even talking on the phone with him. We've gone long periods of time without talking. The last time was about 2008- 2010. Then, I found out he had cancer. I surprised him by showing up at a benefit for him. He sure was happy to see me. We talked for a few hours. My girl friend said watching us, "It was as if I had just seen him yesterday." He and I never skipped a beat, and his "new" friend watched us intently. They always do...
You just can't deny special chemistry and relationship. I am faraway and not seen him in a year, but I call him every few weeks. He always ends the conversation with, "When are you coming back down? Don't forget to come by and see me, don't forget to call." .. I won't.

Sometimes life comes full circle and fate steps in to put things the way they should be. I just wish I could move there sooner. In the mean time we'll make do with the phone, net and visits. What we have between us is well worth waiting for.

You are so right, I was leaving anyway. Believe me I want to do things for him, because I want to. I have known him a long time, his wife died of cancer about a year and half ago. He is the type of man that opens the car door for me. He said it is so good to see me smile again and happy.
He is quite a bow hunter, and is going to teach me. This week-end we are celebrating my birthday and he said he was making plans..I am so excited.
