Rich
If other's here only knew where all I'd been in my life. Just saying. I am not what would be considered wealthy in the rich circles, or really anywhere else. Let's just say, "comfortable". Took a lot of year's, not really saving, planning, investing, etc., to live without financial stress. Just common sense stuff. Me, I don't do credit, of any kind, own all I have outright. My philosify (shit, I'll never get this spelling thing right), is, if I don't have the money in my pocket, I can't afford it. I live, as though I have no money, amazingly, seem to be afford what I need, and need, is the key word, want, is different. Not saying I don't have a few luxuries, but all paid for, cash. For me, after my monthly bill's are paid, groceries are stocked, I'm good. Hey, I look at it this way, a person can only wear one set of clothes at a time (someones laughing at me, stop it, plz. lol), and eat one meal at a time, just as Bill Gates. What I'm really getting at is, for me, being "rich", would be boring. Trust me, I've been down so far, had to look up, just to see down, had nothing. Gave me much time to reflect on the important thing in life, other's. I've lost stuff, and money, a number of times, but easilly replacible, people are'nt.Ten year's ago, the biggest loss of my life happened, and destroyed me for the next 3 year's. No, I won't go into it. Yes, I rambled, I do that. Now, what's important? How really rich are you?

Ah Perve, she must have been a real special lady.
Rich could be boring, but I don't think it would have to be. It would be boring, if you were so rich and recognizable, you couldn't go anywhere.
And, of course, why would you want to go anywhere alone? It is the time we share with those we care about or have fun with that makes it enjoyable.
I believe I've said this before, if I were rich I would spend my days and nights thinking of how I could make things better for others, providing them with what is needed, and a few wants, too.

I think being wealthy would be a bore. Of course, it would be fun to not have to have any monetary concerns.
I'm ok with what I do and don't have. Keep on saving and NEVER use a credit card. Pay with m own money only. There's lots I'd still like to do and have but am content. 
I'm happy with content. :D

I believe that youre better off to have never had money than to have had money and lost it. Ive seen too many celebrity bio's where they realized instant success and 3 or 4 years later, they're staying on a friend's couch.

One of the problems with being "rich" is you cann't really keep track of what you have. That's one reason so many that were, aren't now.

I think like a lot of people right now with the money the way it is we are living from pay check to pay check, but we live happily so it's all good

I am rich. I'm just not wealthy. I am dirt poor in that department.
I was never wealthy but I was definitely comfortable. I miss those days. Not because I want anything. I really don't feel like there is anything I really have to have. I see things I sometimes would buy if I had money to spare but nothing that makes a huge change in my life. I am a bit of a tech geek so those things get my interest(The new Kindle Fire looks really interesting.lol)I also like to travel and miss being able to do that or have my kids travel.
The only thing that bothers me about not having money is that I hate worrying about how I'm going to pay the bills each month.Or that when my kids actually NEED (NOT WANT) something I can't always get it for them anymore.However I am pretty resourceful and seem to manage most times.
I have a few friends that have a lot of money. When I say a lot I mean more than most of us can spend in several lifetimes.I wouldn't trade my life with them for anything.My friend has an expression she uses "Money doesn't make you happy. It can make you happier."
Unfortunately it can also make people act like total assholes.Friends and family get greedy even though they are very wealthy in their own right they seem to always feel they are entitled to more even if it doesn't belong to them. You always have to worry why someone is trying to get close to you. Is it because of what you have or who you are? My friend had a man break up with her because he googled her name and found out more or less how wealthy she really was and he couldn't deal with it. They had a great relationship until he found out she had more money than he could ever dream of. You have to understand I'm talking about a women that is not just extremely wealthy. That has nothing to do with who she really is. She is very smart. Well traveled and educated. She has several successful businesses, and a great personality. If that isn't enough she also happens to be drop dead gorgeous!Kam just looks at her and says that's just not right that someone should have all that in one package.lol But trust me her life has been no picnic.After seeing what money and fame can do to a persons life I say NO THANK YOU! That's not to say I wouldn't want to be comfortable again that is different.

Money is a good thing to pay the bills, keep a roof over your head etc. Have taken care of that for years as a single parent. My kids don't see the need for high dollar clothes, shoes etc. They do like their games but have learned trading works just as well buying.
My riches are in my friendships and family. Money can't buy that. Wouldn't trade that for any amount of money.
