Black and White
We still Love Lucy!!!!
The television star of the classic sitcom "I Love Lucy" Lucille Ball, born 6 August 1911, would have been 100 on Saturday. The whacky red head played Lucy Ricardo, the wife of Ricky (her real-life husband, Desi Arnaz). The show that has been in syndication for decades celebrates its 60th anniversary this year.
I know one of her most famous shows consisted of her stomping grapes. I actually read the woman who played this scene with her got kinda rough while filming.
The Veggie Vegamite Vitamins was very popular. Also, the chocolates on the conveyor belt.
What are some of your favorite I Love Lucy shows, or any other black and white production? You know, like Leave It to Beaver, Andy Griffith, The Beverly Hillbillies, Dick Van Dyke, Make Room for Daddy, Lost in Space?

Re: Black and White
I loved that one were Lucy was in the chocolate factory.
I can remember the Honeymooners. I think that was what it was called. He was a bus driver. All those shows were so much fun to watch.

Re: Black and White
I liked the episode of Lucy when Superman (George Reeves) showed up for Little Ricky's birthday. I just looked it up on youtube and it was actually on there!

Re: Black and White
They have a I Love Lucy Marathon on today, and since I can only take so much 118' weather, I am enjoying the shows.
The last few episodes starred actors such as William Holden, Cornell Wilde, Richard Widmark, Robert Taylor and Harpo Marx. I had no idea Harpo was an accomplished self-taught harpist. Ergo the name.....!
It is hard for me to identify specific episodes. I loved Lost in Space. "Danger Will Robinson, danger!" Probably one with Mr. Smith causing trouble and Don wanted to kick his ass.
We watched the Munsters. I remember the one of Herman taking dance lessons. Also, Hot Rod Herman Drag-u-la vs Munster Koach drag racing.

when "the Beav" ran away and got stuck in the big soup bowl on the billboard, or when the Cleaver boys decided to get a pet alligator....
