Harry Potter's Finally Over!...
With the longest running installments of a movie series, "Harry Potter" is finally over with the second part of the last episode. If you could choose the cast from any one actor or actress, past or present, other than the one who played their part, who would you choose? For instance, if I had to choose a new actor for Dumbledore, I would choose:
"Ian McKellen" (Gandolf-Lord of the Rings)
some others I thought;
"Charlie Sheen" as Severus Snape
"Gary Busey" as Mad Eye Moody
"Hugo Weaving" as Lucius Malfoy
"Carrie-Anne Moss" as Minerva McGonagall
"Monica Bellucci" as Bellatrix Lestrange...

Re: Harry Potter's Finally Over!...
I remember when the books became such a sensation. My mother was lead to be concerned about that the witchcraft theme was somehow a danger to our youth and against her faith.
Then I reminded her we were raised with The Grimm Fairy Tales and The Wizard of Oz, and Disney.

Re: Harry Potter's Finally Over!...
I could tell you a lot of stories about people that would call the cable company and tell them they wanted Disney blocked from their "Basic" cable line up because they felt it was against their religion. One woman went as far to refer to it as "demonic" because of "things like Mickey as Merlin and all the other magic and witchcraft themes."
Harry Potter met a lot of the same type of response. However because it started so many kids reading there was too much of a positive to have the religious groups get there way this time.There was no way it would be boycotted when you have a following like this book was getting as fast as it happened and it just got bigger as time went on.
