Re: ape movies
The new Planet Of The Apes movie is not a remake. Yepper12 you are correct. It is a prequel to the Planet of the Apes story. It is supposed to explain how the Apes came into power.
Similar to how they did the Star Wars series. They told the story and then went back and told how it all started and how the people in the story came to be who they are by telling their back story.
I haven't seen the remake of Planet of the Apes in it's entirety but from what I did see it looked pretty good, just very different. This one looks interesting as well.

The remake with Mark Walhberg? I kinda liked it, I have a soft spot for these movies, they were always a favorite of my dads.
Now, that "Cowboys and Aliens" movie.....mmmmmmm....not sure what to make of that one yet.

I haven't seen Moby Dick in years. I didn't know there were remakes. I loved the book. I might have to check them out. Thanks.
