OUCH!
I was just re-stringing my guitar and when I was winding the B sting, it snapped and hit me in the eye and had to go to the Emergency Room.
Ok, that never really happened, but I know its Summer and Im trying to liven up the forum. Pardon my sick sense of humor.
I should probably take my tablets, put my ointments on, get my oxygen mask and put my toupee in the washer.

Free, have you been spending to much time in the summer sun smoking those funny cigarettes and drinking wine again? I thought we talked about this.....(LOL, I just re-read what I typed and thought,"That almost sounds like a lyric in one of his songs".)

Wow Newb, Im flattered that you knew that! I DO have a lyric thats very similar to that in the song Groundhog Day. The sad part is that after I read what you said, I had to sit here and think for a few minutes to remember what it was!

Again, if you got out of the sun and put down the wine glass and funny cigarette you might remember those things with a bit more clarity. I am starting to worry about you.lol Now that I had to say that twice it is reminding me of the movie Groundhog day.

I had a similar thing happen to me, but it was with a G String and had nothing to do with a guitar...

Wondering, Funny you should mention that. I had a g-sting situation once but the guy was wearing it and when I took it off with my teeth, I got hit in the eye but it wasn't the string that hit me.
