Money scam
We have gotten spam inbox, or via other sources, of people (totally unknon), with sob stories where they needed money. This morning, got one from a "lady", who had her ID, and all stolen, was stuck, and needed me to wire 1,950 dollars so she could catch her flight. Of course I got right on that and sent Western Union, NOT! Interested the way's you've handled or ignored these, and I'll share with all, the fun, creative way I do it. (Besides, I'd like to learn new ways to have fun with it)

Re: Money scam
I'm allowing the Nigerian Embassy to use my checking account to wire $2.5 million dollars into and for my troubles, they offered to pay me 10%. How could I turn down a deal like that? All I had to do was give them my checking account info and my Social Security Number. So, Ive got that goin for me.

All I gave them, is my first born. Small price to pay to help the under-privileged. Hey, I can make another one.

Re: Money scam
one day, i got an email from Yahoo services, telling me that unless i changed my password, i'd get my account deleted. (i was still new to using the internet at the time), so using the form that was included in the email, i did. (it looked very authentic) the very next day, i could not log into my Yahoo account at all. and within an hour, every one on my list had received a message, apparently, i was traveling abroad, and got into some trouble in Nigeria, and the Nigerian Government would not let me leave the country until i paid a $1,500 fine. i believe it was WN's own AmberZed that gave me the heads up (as she was one of the first to get that message).

I promise i'll pay you back when i get home!"
every one knew it was a scam, they all had either spoken to me or saw me within a day or too prior, and knew that there was no way i was in Nigeria. lol

Re: Money scam
there's at lot of that over in Nigeria,i watched a whole show on it . they have no laws against it . the one i watched had a Nigerian lawyer and i trhink it was some french chic and they were set up and tracked down, they were stealing card numbers and using them to buy things in the USA and paying peoples that wasn't aware that they were helping ship stuff that was bought with stolen credit cards and shipping them over seas, and not cheap shit too big buck stuff too . so they were tracked down right to the post office and more or less caught red handed and couldn't even bust them.. really sucks I'm sue they needed it, the millions they stole and resold
