Have I told ya'all lately?
Have I told all of you lately how much I luv ya'all to bits?
(sigh) I had just signed an online petition the other day, one I felt in one way was ridiculous that we should have to petition for a law about something that we all know is just wrong, but...I felt good about joining the other what is now over a million who have also signed.
Anyway, had an email from the site with an update on the petition, decided to return to the site, while there I typed in my state in a search feature to see what local petitions were posted there.
I ran across one to remove a website, I was curious about what could be so bad, it's a forum site, you can find your own town or area and post with registering.
I don't believe that the site should be removed, but I do agree that it is a gawd awful thing for sure.
People, without registering can post anything about anyone. Gawd, does that set-up ever bring out the ugliest.
It's a bullying/gossip/slandering site really, some legit topics there, but geez, I've seen topics like ....
"Did you see how big (full name) ass has gotten? "
"Is (full name) and (full name) still together cuz he's been getting with (full name)
"I see (full name) driving to the bar everyday, does anyone know where her four kids are while she's drinking all day? "
Anyway, I know our "nice rule" is something that we have to debate about once in awhile, but after seeing 5 minutes of this other site, all I can really say is, I do luv the crap outta all of you.

We luv the crap outta you too! I would have never been able to post my pics on another site. I would have been made fun of... but here people are nice. If they don't like my pics they don't say anything.. if they do they let me know. Its nice to feel comfortable here.

Wow! That would suck to have others hammer you in puclic, and have no control over who say's what. For sure it could even be potentially dangerous, as the one(s) being talked about, may lash out in icky way's.

The problem with those sites are that they would never get to be big or well known if the media didn't do stories about them. See, the way you just posted is fine because at least you don't post the site address. Although there will be some people that will research it based even on the few facts you gave about it.But the media has already done numerous stories about a few of the sites just like what you described. They have different categories of them but I wont even get into that.The sad part is effects jobs and personal relationships for some people.
Unfortunately we live in a world that most times the bad get more attention than the good. There are sites for every kind of mean, nasty thing you can imagine,and some you probably can't.The "revenge"sites were big for a while. I never really saw the appeal. I don't think people I dislike are worth that much of my time or energy to start spending time posting shit about them, whether it be true or not.One site I was on had one chat room totally dedicated to being as nasty as you can be to each other. I always wondered why anyone would go in there. OK, maybe the people that had that as a fetish but other than that I don't see it.
It's like that guy who has a "church" that goes around protesting military funerals. In reality his so called "church" isn't all that big. I believe it's less than 100 people. But the media has given him a huge amount of publicity and now everyone knows about him and his totally obnoxiousness ass-whole of a group.I would not mention him if he wasn't already well known because I don't want to give him any more attention than he already gets.By the way his main goal is to get people to break the law and start shit with him or take away his constitutional rights. Then he takes them to court and he makes a fortune. It is disgusting but, you have to admit pretty smart.
My favorite is the so called "moral majority".The funny thing is it is ONE GUY that happens to be a fucking computer crazy loon that has to much time on his hands. Most people think it's some huge group.
There is a women that has gotten all kinds of crap boycotted because she is the squeakiest wheel there is. Not because there are large numbers. I will say although I don't agree with their views at all, I give them credit for getting their goal accomplished in a way most would never be able to pull off and its perfectly legal and no violence most of the time.It's a shame they don't use their power and talent they have for better things.
Don't underestimate the power of the Internet or the people that use it.

needafuck....I sincerely, and I mean sincerely think you are a beautiful woman , we're very happy that you share your photos with us.
The petition goes on to mention that there is a completely unmonitored "human sexualty" forum area also, I have to say, I'm afraid to look. It's mentioned in the petition drive what is there, I haven't seen it myself.

Well guess what, I love the hell outta u too. You're always there to encourage newbies, throw a new topic in the forums, You do a lot to keep this site running smoothly  , plus its so easy to relate to you, since you like doing a lot of the same stuff I do, I love our chats.

This is off topic but thought it was a little funny. I just commented on another thread about someone having a nice profile pic. Then I clicked on this thread and saw Peterpan73. He looks like he should be the extension of the picture I just commented on. It was a guy laying on his side but ended at his shoulder.(sorry can't remember the guys name, but if you look at the other new threads you will see it.)
