Royal Visit
WEll they've been in Canada now in California. Seems they're going to get to meet a few Hollywood "celebrities.
I really, really think that Charlie Sheen should be on that list.

Re: Royal Visit
Just read in US Weekly, they were a hit. They stayed and chatted, after listening to the 20-minute presentation at the "Case Study on Tech City" panel at Variety's Venture Capital and New Media Summit held at the Beverly Hilton.
"The Prince is a jester!" The Prince's demonstrated his comic side regarding a new online shopping program. "William was joking about Kate being able to do too much online shopping with this program."
William got a bit racy when Jay Wright of Qualcomm showed off a new technology that allows users to easily modify photos and video. When Wright pulled out a pic from the royal wedding, "Will laughed a little and said, 'You're not going to do something that'll take our clothes off, are you?' I assured him that wasn't the case! Kate was laughing too."
"They were just lovely, down to earth, and had no pretenses."

Re: Royal Visit
I would never want their lives. They can't take a breath without someone reporting on it. I think the paparazzi should be outlawed. It's horrible that they can't even go to their back yard without body guards for them and any family members and even close friends. It's disgusting. Imagine living every second of your life knowing that some one wants to kill you just because of who you are and no matter what you do that will never change.

I patially agree. They have security mainly because of other governemts and countries. Just beeing allies to the US makes theem a target.
Diana would still be alive if she hadn't called the media hounds. It's refreshing to see Kate and WIlliam being themselves on this.

Re: Royal Visit
I've had to play block the idiot with so called celebrities. I've almost been run down because of paparazzi .I have had dinners interrupted and family hurt. My brothers first wedding had to have security measures because minor celebrities were there.I would be very happy if they never printed another one of those rag magazines.I think news should get back to reporting real news. These people deserve a private life. The press should only be allowed to report on public events and never come near their family and friends.
It's not like I have a strong opinion on this .lol

Re: Royal Visit
Oh, I just thought it was one of those diplomatic type of visits, where they expected to be video taped and photographed, ya know, like they intended it to be a public thing.
Anyway, I like 'em!
