From what little time I've had to hear/read about it, we're not taking a direct hit, but it's a huge flare, saw some different types of video images and it was awesome.
Since it's not directed at us, it'll be the ions released that they say will start interfering with satellites, GPS, cell phones, etc...
So...anyone experience anything attributed to the solar flare tomorrow, it would be cool to hear about it.

Supposedly, we can expect gadget problems from the ion release of the flare...so far today, nuttin'....

As I related to free in another thread just now, I won't participate in the solor thing either. Besides, am already aclamated to the heat. Been around 100 for a while in Tucson already. Yuk, yuk, yuk.

I don't think we're talking about a rise in earth's temperature due to the solar flare, just interference with satelites and gadgets due to the release of the ions from the flare.
So far, nuttin' here, internet working great, haven't used my cell phone today though,

Sorry Chazzy, looks like I drove your thread into the proverbial ditch... Now watch. Someone will comment on driving skills or complain about no air-conditioning in their car... 
BY the way, Nextel been having the greatest problems in the flare storm. The direct-connects are already overloaded and this problem is just icing on the cake...
