the ones that grow in cow pies in the morning....? some one in southern wisconsin i read got picked up , had a whole bunch of crap in the basement and a lab too, some folks just dont have brains

ya they are good if ya like shrooms , i don't like any kind of mushrooms . we did pick for a Friend though , he use to can them, when we were out logging ...got 5 gal pails full.
then one night his hart stopped... no need for shrooms any more and no more turtle soup

I haven't gone hunting yet, but it is time...the rule around here is when the lilacs bloom and my lilacs are blooming!
Morels aren't my favorite wild mushrooms, I like the summer/fall varieties, but morels have a very high value.
