Re: worst foods
I dont eat out because I'm always afraid L&H might be preparing my food.
And whats with this new thing from IHOP? Waffles and Chicken? Thats a new one to me. I can honestly say that everywhere I've ever traveled, I've never seen chicken on a breakfast menu. They should be laying the eggs for breakfast, not being served.

Re: worst foods
I've seen the whole Waffles and Chicken on the Food Channel. It's a Northern/Southern thing I think. I love chicken, and I love eggs, but can't bring myself to eat them side by side.... uck!

Re: worst foods
I eat out knowing that it isn't the healthiest or cleanest so I can't fault the places for me being stupid and getting fat if I were to eat 2 pounds of greasy meat every day.I would hope that the place is at least clean enough to meat health regulations. (But I know many aren't) In NJ you can actually ask to see the kitchen and they would have to show it to you. That is a very little known law and restaurants don't want you to know it.I have worked in places I would NEVER eat in. I had so many clients that were restaurants when I was in Advertising. They always wanted me to eat at their restaurants. I had an issue with one of them because he complained to my boss that I never eat at his restaurant. When my boss asked why (Because that was unusual) I told him I had seen that kitchen enough times to know not to eat there. It was disgusting. Not only did he back me up but he never went there again either. lol

yep and don't forget the walk in coolers too... i like the ways he prays to the food gods that he don't get food poisoning before he samples dishes . then what they got down in the cooler because some ones not doing their job.
Romano tomatoes with mold on them and nasty lettuce , and at least the onions are fresh , there still growing

Processed foods, eaten out or in are terrible for you! I was looking at the back of a package of pasta that "makes" its own sauce and not one thing in the ingredients sounded like food...hello, stop soliciting our children to eat CRAP!

Re: worst foods
I am a fan of Jamie Olivers, Food Revolution, which comes due to food repulsion. Even I was amazed at last weeks episode which showed an entire school bus with the equivalent of all the sugar that's in the flavored milk that goes into the schools in a week.
The bus is overflowing, as it cannot contain the 57 tons of sugar.
And, you wonder why kids are hyperactive, diabetic, obese? The answer, cut out phys ed and put them on meds. You go America!

I agree! Our schools will not allow more than two holiday parties a year because of food restrictions but the crap they serve in the lunch rooms EVERY day is terrible! My children eat vegetables at home because that is what's for dinner...REAL fruit and veggies are available at home but not school!!! How can children be exposed to better food choices, offer them!
