Ring tones
Ugh...hubs changed the ringtones on our home phones...it's kinda like carnival music. (He's still home recovering from his surgery, so he does little things like this out of boredom)
I don't care for speciality ring tones much, just a phone ring is fine with me. If I want to hear music, I'll turn on the radio.
I was recently in a waiting room with a woman who's cell phone rang constantly, her ring tone was this squeaky Wizard of Oz munchkin sounding voice saying "Help! I'm stuck in your pocket!"
Kinda cute the first time, but after 20 minutes...it got old real quick.
I do understand that when ya'all are out and about or around others with cell phones, it's great to know at first ring by the ring tone, who's phone is ringing.
It's just not necessary for me and hubs. We rarely use our cell phones. We just carry the basic little bastards with us while we're out, just in case. I know most spend allot of time with their smart phones and deluxe cells, I could see where hearing a favorite song instead of a ring would be a cool thing.
I want my plain ole, ordinary ring back in the house, the carnival music kinda grates on me.
Do you change your ringtones often?

No, I never change my ringtone. I recently attended a class, and some of the cell phones went off. Our instructor, David "Big Dawg", just started to dance. He said, "You didn't know a white boy could have this much rhythm". His phone went off several times. His ringtone was "Layla", which reminds me of a a 13 year old Derek Trucks playing slide guitar.

we got our cells and we use them alot. they took over for the wall phones i can get the two for what ma bell was charging just for the wall phone,mine was just the plain ring ring , i like it , it sounds like a phone . we have to lg phones , the wifes new one is a samsung its a joke and ya cant change the ring tone and its plain goofy and dont sound like a phone when ringing and ya kant change it. i looked

There is a lady here in town thats been married like 6 times, you wouldnt believe what her ringtone is.... yup... the wedding march... (if there is a certain set builder that works in Hollywood reading this... yup, its ur ex)

My ringtone used to be " Sad, but True", by Metallica and I miss it as I can't have it on my new one. So now I have some chilled rings for the texts and calls which I never hear

Mine is aways ringer off. I retired eary, so my call's, in and out, are really not important. And, I like quiet. Guess we do change with age, as this comes from a guy who cranked mega watts, out of amps, in 3 different rock bands.

I change mine often, music for most of my friends, the sperm donor was recently assigned "Fuck You" by CeLo Green...perfection!

Mine now sounds like Robin Hood blowing his horn to call his Merry Men - it doesn't seem to work though as I have no men flocking round me

I either have mine on a ring like a normal phone but with different rings for family (shorter or longer ring). Or its on vibrate. Anytime I put it to music I don't answer it because I don't think it's my phone. My kids always have to yell at me "Mom that's your phone damn it answer it." My response is always "Phones should ring not play music!"
My daughters phone rings with "Moron calling, yes there is a moron on the end of this call" lol I do think its funny except if she forgets to shut it and goes in the shower and it rings and rings and rings.... I then want to throw it out the window.

Hubs changed the ringtones back, except one, and when I hear it ring, instead of answering it right away, I find myself listening to it wondering "What is that song? I know it, I can't think of the name of that song!"
It's classical, and I'm sure googling "dada dada dada da dot dah" won't get me the snswer.
