Great! I remember my first time, well some of it . Sometimes even today, I think people are small minded and put to much emphasize on color, age, or same sex relationships. Or, at least I know several small minded people who do.
Is this someone you've known for awhile? Do you plan to see them again. Was there any real noteable difference?

there's absolutely nothing wrong with it. i would not hesitate, and there quite a few women around here that i most certainly not turn down...i'd ask them out, but i don't speak Spanish well enough...

Of course I speak it too. HELLO? I live in Tucson. Especially helpful with a non-englsh speaking gf a few year's back, from Obregon. Seeing a lady now, born in Montarey, adopted at 1 yr, to Indiana. No spanish. Ok  I go now.

There's a guy down my street who's African-American. He told me that it's bad for a white guy to have sex with a black woman . He said it waters down his race. The funny thing is, that his girlfriend is white. It's okay for him, but not for me. That's just plain stupid...

I have no problem saying what their taste is when it comes to likes and dislikes. However some people mix that up with prejudices.
I have dated guys of several different races , religions, and very different cultural backgrounds.I will say it does present some additional challenges at times because we do live in a world of prejudices unfortunately.
A friend of mine and I actually had a long discussion about this. Her entire family is African American and vary to great extremes in the color of their skin, some very light some very dark (that is another whole subject that blew me away!). Anyway, her kids and mine are very close and we once talked about how we would feel about it if our kids were to marry not necessarily each other but to marry different races than their own. Being perfectly honest we both agreed we would prefer they didn't. Not because either of us had a problem with the other race at all. The problem was we both saw how hard it was when our kids had been out together and people assumed they were dating or even just out as friends. We realizes how much harder the world would be on them and their children and you always wish your children to have the least amount of obstacles in their life.We both admitted that its a horrible way to think, but its no different than my def friends. I have nothing against them but wouldn't want my kids to have to go through life with the obstacles it throws in your way.
I married outside my religion and you would be shocked at the prejudices my children have faced in the churches as well as the temple and even in day to day life.
So all the sex in the world is great but if you are going to have a relationship with someone that has differences that noticeable be prepared for the rude , obnoxious , prejudice people of the world to judge you on nothing except their ignorance!

The first girl I was engaged with was African American!! Almost married her too, but I partied too much and she didn't like that...she dumped me! I lost a wonderful woman!!!

Could have sworn I'd responded to this, but seems to be gone? Oh well. Again: Tucson, has a very diverse population, and have been here many years. With that, natually, my world has, (doe's) include, Amer.Indian, Asian, Mexican, Black, etc. etc. We, Tucsonans, never really think about it, nor pay much attention to it. We all here, about a million peaple, are just one big human race. No big deal. So interacial sex? You can put me down as a hell...yes!. P.S. To what GG said, could be a bit of exception. Been with a number of black ladies (of course), and black men , and white people, give us "THAT look". Has to be explained. Does'nt bother me, I'm just with a lady. And you'd really need to know me, to even begin to understand how irrelavent others pettiness, has little affect on me, and how I roll.

I am not a non conformist by design, meaning I don't go out of my way to shun what's "in"...if it's out of style and I like it, hey...I wear it, do it..As far as any facet of life, I don't let judging people control anything I do. Prejudice is a synonym for ignorance. So as far as our sexuality , we are the same in the fact that we are all human. So no matter the race, creed, beliefs..if two people mesh...they mesh. Don't sweat the small stuff, step around or over it..to cater to prejudice is to feed it.

This string came to mind last night. My thoughts were of my great-grandfather. Who's name was, Cassious Monroe, and then our sir name. Humm? What doe's that tell me? Doe's this explain why I'm so easy going with anyone? How was I born a blonde/blue, British-American? You know, none of it matters. A person is just that. Period. I'm accepting of who I am, and the hand I've been delt. "When life gives you lemons, make lemon-aide". Hope this did'nt sound confusing, not my intention. I prefer the term, "multi-cultural relations". (less offensive to those of thin skin). What's this got to do with the topic? Think about it. It's all good.

Grandelf I don't disagree with you. My point was that although I have been with men of many races, religions etc. I do wish the world would stop judging based on those things. That was the point. You have to be think skinned to be able to deal with the things that happen when your in an interracial relationship. As a parent you tend to wish for you children to have a happy, healthy and productive life with as few obstacles in there way as possible.
I have seen my friends children be treated so horribly and wasn't always able to stop it. I wont tell the story of the first time because its to long.
When I first moved here the holidays rolled around and Chanukah happened to be early that year. I had a menorah in the window and had all kinds of things happen. As soon as we put up the Christmas tree it all stopped. I Wish we could change the worlds prejudices and hope that maybe it will improve but unfortunately I don't see much progress. But its nice to dream.....

Well I understand and actually have had to deal with issues, in this arena of interacial sex.. and others that hold a stigma and though I can't change the world, I cannot let them win. For my child, yes as that's different, but not without one hell of a fight. If it's just me, nope...one would have to kill me before I let them win...literally. But me? Stubborn? Nahhhhhhhhh...

By experience (trust me, not just once, and no comment), the black ladies I've been with, in the past at this time, would get, well not favorable looks from most people, and especially, brothers, including my friends. I'd just smile. Did'nt bother me. And an aside, it's nothing nice when dating multiple sister's at once, and other encountering current dates. Would'nt be angry with me so much, but sure don't want to be caught in the middle of it again. Nuff said.
