Re: tattoo's do you?
I don't have any. Although with some it's a religious thing. I am not very religious. I'm just allergic to pain!
My 2 sons have tattoos and my daughter would like one but I told her not till she is older. It's a permanent thing and I feel you should wait till you are older to make that decision. I wish my sons would have waited a bit longer and put more thought into how it can effect them in many ways. Unfortunately people do judge by what they see. I just think that some of the choices they made at 20 or 23 will not be something they will still like at 45. I know my one son only has one but it is a shamrock. and the other has a shamrock as well as a few others. I always worry more about tattoos that tell anybody about religion, ethnic backgrounds or beliefs. Even if they are as seemingly harmless as a shamrock. I feel it would be just as dangerous as putting a star of David or other symbol that some idiot might pick a fight over. I know that sounds stupid to some but trust me I have seem many fights started in bars over something as stupid as that. And prejudice is growing unfortunately.
I do appreciate the beauty and art of the tattoo's however.

Re: tattoo's do you?
I've always wanted one at least, but could never decide on the design and I really wanted to be sure before having it attached to me forever. Probably won't bother now
I love to see a good tattoo though and my eldest niece is actually a Tattoist and the younger one designs some for her in her spare time

Re: tattoo's do you?
i was told my granddad had two frogs on each check of his but ready to jump for the fly. my son has the start of one on his arm and the he stoped there .
a freind had the grim reaper started on his arm and got a lot of shit in bars over it , thinking it was the wrong bikers patch of somekind.
being we are now both in the 50s, i was thinking on one for the wife and myself but then why at our age...lol

Re: tattoo's do you?
I was going to get a small one of a guitar, but to have strings on it, it needed to be a larger size than I wanted, huge in fact as far as I was concerned, because over time the strings would blend together, and ruin the look. So, that was that..I only asked one artist and really don't know if what they said was true, but she had one on her leg as an example and I was like...uhm, nada, nyet, no no senorita, and so on and so forth ...... I have a nephew that wasn't thinking to clearl...at all, he has vampire marks on his neck. Now THERE'S something great at a job interview....

Re: tattoo's do you?
The only time I thought to get a tatoo was to cover a scar on my right ankle. See, I threw the ball for my boxer, not realizing my ankle was encircled by her lead, which was a cable. She took off, and I couldn't move fast enough. The cable tightened around my ankle, and I hit the pavement.
It gave me a nice, deep gash around my ankle, and I thought of getting a flamingo with flower. Nothing too big, just to cover the scar.
Another time, I was dating this guy... and he was just lets say, not a keeper. He told me if I ever got a tatoo, he would break up with me. I thought to get one for spite, but I knew I could always get rid of him, the tatoo, however, would be permanent.
Lastly, I had gone out of town to see my sister. During my trip, I picked up some temporary tatoo's. I placed one on my left breast, which my husband noticed in the kitchen one day. He got all fired up when he saw it. He couldn't believe I got a tatoo, and yet that didn't bother him nearly as much as the fact some guy HAD TOUCHED MY BREAST!!!
Tattoo's are okay. I've seen some really great ones, however for me, I don't really want a permanent mark on my body... just not for me.

Re: tattoo's do you?
indeed there was a gal who hung out at a bar we went to she had a spiderweb on her and most of her body that you could see she might of had a black widow in her crotch for all i known. but most seem nice if they are professionally done, and get Leary over ones that look like they came from a jail or are homemade. the wash of kind might be cool have to check into them as long as they dont look childish or foolish

Re: tattoo's do you?
Ask I was half joking but to be honest I had a client that is not just a tattoo place to get tattoos but the manufacture the supplies for most of the places in the country. The owners told me that you can get anything as a temporary tattoo that you can as a regular tattoo. Keeping in mind they can vary in price just as much. They also have the kind the kids use that is off in a day or the "Henna" type. I know I had something on that lasted about 1 1/2 weeks once.
I laughed about the vampire bites because I had gone to a special type of wine tasting . It's a pretty upscale thing but with a big twist. A friend of mine owns and runs the thing. Anyway they all have different themes. The one I was attending happen to be a vampire theme. Very cool by the way.But there was a make up artist there and he put vampire bites on all of our necks. I hadn't looked in the mirror for hours and forgot about it.When I went home several people I was with were all going out or to different directions (My kids went to the clubs, My brother to long Island etc.)So I go to Port Authority to grab a bus home. Easiest way to travel in NY. As I'm walking I had person after person asking if I need help.I was really confused. I was carrying heavy tote bags with several bottles of wine for everyone so they didn't have to lug them around Manhattan.People are not "that"nice to offer help especially that often. Finally someone said to me, "Would you like a tissue or first aid.I can call help for you." I was so confused I started doing that feeling my body and looking at myself kind of thing. The guy looks at me and says "your neck is bleeding pretty bad" I start laughing and he thought I lost my mind till I explained what it was. I will try to find the pictures and put it on my profile if I do. lol

Re: tattoo's do you?
this is just my own personal opinion...i feel that if you want a tattoo, it's something that needs to be done in your 20's or 30's...to me, a man that's is in his 40's or 50's, and get his FIRST one, people will think it's a mid-life crisis type of thing. lol
i thought about getting one, but (again MY opinion) if you get a tat, you're gonna wanna show it off, and i don't have the body to run around shirtless....(posting pics on the internet is not the same as actually being out in public)
i had an idea that on one shoulder would be the Road Runner, on the other shoulder would be Wile E. Coyote, and across my back would be smoke clouds, to make it appear that a chase was being ensued...

Re: tattoo's do you?
i have 9 my self , i have all ways spent at least a year thinking about the tat its self and the over all design before i get it i have started on my military tats been working on them for a few years now still have about 10 or 12 to finish it out this are all going on my back so they can not be seen unless i decide to show them one on my leg can be seen if i have shorts on my chest covered by shirt the one on my arm only with a real short sleeve shirt. luv2 as two on her back can only be seen if she shows you one on each lower calve that can only be seen in shorts and one on her wrist that can be seen we have always told our kids if they want one they have to be at lease 18 and we sit down and talk about it and they must spend a year thinking about it first yes all the boys waited but the girl didn't she has more than the boys Lil but she is leaning to be a tat artist so she is doing what she loves

None myself. Never really been a huge fan of body art. My kid has one and wants another. I always told her that she needs to put them in places that can be hidden.

Re: tattoo's do you?
I'm saving myself for one when I turn fifty as part of my mid-century-life-crisis. I was going to get an eagle on my chest twenty-years ago though, but by now it probably would have looked like a a vulture dragging its ass on the ground...
