sex or the remote?
was reading a article on msn or some place there was a survey that went 36 percent of us would rather stop having sex then give up their remote for 30 days ....wow
what are we becoming a brunch of couch taters ? i think i get enough exercise roaming the house looking for my remotes after the cats drag it under the couch with the dust bunnies with all the remotes i have,not to even mention my cell phones...like ya get wondering sickness which way did it go George, which way did it go....

I don't know these people, well if I do I don't want to know they are that stupid. It might be a pre- friendship question for new people I meet in the future, help weed out the idiots. lol

These surveys have been done before and the numbers change slightly but the results are basically the same. Did they say it was men or women or both this time? Was there an age range?
I think most people that say they would give up sex have already given it up. Whether or not it's voluntary is another question. I know some of these surveys are people that are in unhealthy relationships to begin with or no relationships.

i have to look back newbie, but i think it was both ... but you would think it was more a guy thing....
even the wife say she thinks we need to do it more then once or twice a week... i mean now that the nest is empty there are all kinds of opportunity's im startig to feel like al bundy with my hand in my pants and looking for supper and my copy of biggens....  ooooh meats meat lets eat.

Josie,Remind me to tell you about the one time in my life I watched Rugby Josie . All I can say was I was in Manhattan in the 80's somewhere in the Village I think, and laughing non stop. I don't drink and never did but the 80's had some other things to offer that lets just say you should never watch Rugby while partaking in. The whole story will have to be in private but OMG I can never watch Rugby again without laughing. Or the game Asteroids for any of you who might remember that game. Besides if we were having sex I would hope I could distract you from the Rugby game for a little while Or I would have to introduce you to a little gadget called TIVO.

Now you see if it was sex with you! I would happily skip any other distractions my sweet.
The mere thought of taking pleasure in that gentle spirit, quick mind and on so glorious body is enough of a distraction in itself.....excuse me for a moment whilst I go and errr distract myself more personally

I once had a remote to the butterfly vibrator she was wearing. We went out and every so often I pushed the button, sending her into orbit. I wonder what they would say about that remote?...

I just wonder what it is about men and remotes. We have a wireless vib with a remote too. It's amazing that the only time Kam seems to have trouble with the remote and it doesn't seem to work is when he is supposed to turn it off. Needless to say I wont let him use it on me when we are out till he fixes the "Problem"
I do think they came up with remote toys to get guys away from the TV. "Look honey this remote does all kinds of fun things , and I won't even fight you if you want to hold it and keep changing channels."

Hubs loves his remote, it never leaves his hand while watchng TV, he tries to watch several shows at once and while trying to avoid all commercials, his misses chunks of the program or even, forgets what he was trying to watch.
I select a program and then put the remote down.
Ash, my pets don't drag off the remotes, but the cats do tend to knock them off the table, the back will pop off, and then the batteries roll off and have to be hunted down.
As far as TV over sex, no way....they repeat the crap out of everything, I never worry about missing a show cuz I know there will be so many more chances to catch it

our new kitten is a pain, like to jump on my leg and plant all 4 sets of claws in me... then go and lean against my monitor its warm . lately shes eying my fish tank top for a leap to it from the scanner .... black kitty lost his claws and balls for that ......eating my prize angels

With my DVR, just hit pause or record. Never miss a "lick", either way. Go with-out one or the other for 30 day's, would find my sorry hide hanging from the noose. But seriously, I believe I'm mature enough to do with neither. But do need my A.M. radio for talk show's. I'm simple and easy.
