Sex Work ?
I posted a joke, then realized I wanted to pose this as a question also. "How much of sex is "work" and how much of it is "pleasure?"
I think women spend allot more time working up to sex, hair done, makeup, perfume, and carefully planned out outfit. I know I watch Jersey Shore (only quality TV for me), and JWOWW came out in a black bustier, briefs, and chaps, carrying handcuffs.
So, there is the preparing part, then also the actual foreplay and sex. How much do you give? Do you care how much they give, or do the just need to show up and be breathing? What are your thoughts?

I just like the intimacy of all 20 of us. JUST KIDDING! Actually, no work at all, hopefully fun and pleasure for all involved.

Re: Sex Work ?
I understand your point about how much we as women put into getting ready for sex or a date.
I never really thought of it as work. It's more like pampering myself for a few hours. I think the foreplay starts with women much early than many guys realize as well. Because it starts in our head you can tease us all day long or longer at times . If your really good at it we will jump you as you come through the door. I know a certain person that really got into my head and I was climbing the walls by the time he got home from work that night yet he continued to drive me crazy for a while longer.
The thing is I don't know if I would consider any of it from either side "Work". In general I guess I don't associate "Work" with sexual pleasure .If you define it by effort then that would be different. I also think that men get a bad rap and partially due to their own joking about it. Most men are portrayed as "Just showing up" and only having foreplay because they have to to keep us happy so we fuck them. But I think the reality is most men really put a lot of thought into wanting us to truly enjoy the whole experience and that in many cases they would rather make us cum over and over because they do care more than they act or are portrayed. I think they get pleasure from that as well, not just bragging rights that they got their women to cum 10 times.I never got the impression any man felt it was work.

Re: Sex Work ?
yeah, i've been watched on my cam, just watched, a few times, and each time, the woman has said something about me doing all the work...never really understood that. it's not really work, it's pleasure. lol and YES, i have let women just watch...as long as i can at least see her face, i've even shown a few in exchange for a few naughty pics...(a cam on her part is not ALWAYS required, but it's nice for me. lol)

Re: Sex Work ?
So is everyone saying it is 100% pleasure, and work? And, even if you are the most active and ardent, the other person might not be exerting any energies, still it is 100% pleasure, 0% work. Okay!

Re: Sex Work ?
I think in relation to the question of how much effort a partner puts in from full prep and effort to just turning up. Wellif they know me well enough they know that I need all types from just arriving home from work hot and ready to full on dinner and a show.
I think it is just the term "work" I have a problem with. Yes I do put thought and effort into sex, but I don't see that as work. I see that as part of the anticipation and therefore part of the pleasure

Re: Sex Work ?
Does unemployment cover that? Exactly what benefits do you get if you get laid off?

Re: Sex Work ?
There is nothing, not a thing about sex that is work, at least to me. Any primping, grooming etc. prior to is another way to enhance, to get the most of what is a gift unique unto itself in our lives. So to prepare by getting cleaned up, dressed a certain way and so on is all part of the wonderful gift. There's nothing work like in any aspect of "passion" as I prefer to call a really great bond between people. There's sex, and there's passion. Different things in terms of excitement...passion makes sex fall into the abyss when the two are compared.

Re: Sex Work ?
I run an adult store,so my work is sex,but sex is work? So now I'm confused Does this mean I'm a sexaholic if I work too much or a workaholic if I have sex too much??

Re: Sex Work ?
When I worked in phone sex and webcam chat sex....oh yeah, it was work. Not jobs I liked at all. It all sounds sexy, but it's work.
As far as gettin' horny and having sex, kinda like gettin' hungry...you can shop, prep and cook a favorite meal, or...just grab a couple of crackers.

Re: Sex Work ?
When you were a phone sex /web sex women the difference was you really weren't the one having sex so like anyone else its a job. Remembering sex is a mind set, especially for women, I know you guys are shocked that most of the women aren't really having sex and getting off. lol
