Maybe the world lacks it but i would go for common sense. Although we need intelligent people too, I rather see the sense of something.

I think sense is far too uncommon. I would go for intelligence all the way, however I also say only intelligent people can be truly stupid. The unintelligent I don't hold to such a high standard.

Intelligence. Although common sense has its place, in general, if you're smart you can figure it out regardless. And I hold most to this standard, if you don't know ask. If you don't want to ask, look it up. Remember it either way. If you can't do the first two, it's your own damn fault.

If I was Highly Intelligent and stepped from the curb, I could tell you the exact second the bus would flatten me, and where I would most likely land, but if I had Common Sense I'd know not to step way from the curb in the first place...

Tough one in some ways, but I would have to go with Intelligence. I know it doesn't mean the same thing to all people either, so for me the meaning is quoted below:
"Intelligence is an umbrella term describing a property of the mind including related abilities, such as the capacities for abstract thought, understanding, communication, reasoning, learning, learning from past experiences, planning, and problem solving"
I believe that intelligence can include common sense you see

Whichever one is most fitting with a sense of humor, which usually, is common sense. Not to say I don't know some highly intelligent people that are hilarious....just it is I have known some that were bogged down with intelligence to where they couldn't see the humor in certain things, to which I'd say. "Damn, hang on, lemme get my crayons and stupid this up for you a bit", lol. So as long as theirs laughter, I'd take either one.
I fall into the category of idiot to some degree and ya know, it seems to work just fine.

Grandelf Unless the term idiot has a meaning I have never heard you definitely don't fall into that category.
I don't have a lot of patience for stupid people. But I think some people think that means that I feel you must be highly intelligent for me to like you or have patience with you. I know may people that would be considered highly intelligent if they took a test that strictly measured intelligence. Yet they are so stupid I can't tolerate them for more than 3 seconds. I believe the common sense is what makes the difference. Example would be Kameral. He is so intelligent but also has common sense.
Maybe the two can't be separated for me. So I change my earlier answer. I really have to be around people that have both if I am going to spend any real time with them.

Since no one can know everything, everyone is stupid sometimes, somewhere.
I don't think city people are stupid, but some amuse the crap outta me when they venture out here for weekend tourist antiquing. I'm sure I'm amusing to them when I have to visit the city.
I know a man, his IQ is well below a hundred, but he seems to know how to be happy, kind, and tolerant to the rest of the world. He's amazing. Everyone loves him, and he seems to know nothing but love. I wish we were all smart like him.
