the latest scam...
has anyone else had troubles with these skanky women that get you to add them on Yahoo, and then ask you to go to their website and "rate" them for a beauty contest? (i never go rate) after they give me that line, i block them from Yahoo, come back here and report them. EVERYONE ELSE SHOULD TO!!!! (use the report link at the bottom of her profile, or pm myself or any other mod, and we will take care of it.)
thanks for helping us keep this site free of this sort of crap!

Re: the latest scam...
well, i do generally add ladies to my yahoo, if they admit they have a cam. one never can tell when i may get lucky. but the minute she starts asking me to sign up for the site that has her cam, i tell her no, and block her. but wait...the site is free, all you need is a credit card for age verification...(and to actually interact with any members, that's what i LOVE about this site. you can interact for FREE if you choose to do so VIP is great, but you can still have some sort of contact as a free member)

Absolutey, that's the method!
Even if you are not solicited until you go offsite, they are still soliciting from here, and need to be reported.

Re: the latest scam...
I got one better... A different set of ladies ask to be added to your friends' list (on here, yahoo, facebook, etc...) for the sole reason of copying your info for the purpose of selling it to advertisers. Without being added to those sites, they can't get the in depth info they are looking for. The minute you accept them, they search your blogs, info, and anything else you may have for sellable info to respective buyers for that kind of info. If you don't believe me, try this test out. Write in one of your blogs that you like say bologna and other sandwich meats. Sound convincing when you say it. Check your junk folder later and you'll find all kinds of bologna related articles and deli coupons logged into it. That info is sold buy them to clients who pay them to monitor you and yours. Then ask yourself, "would your friends tell these people about your bologna addiction?"..

Re: the latest scam...
GG You are correct there are people who are paid to search and monitor for all kinds of stuff. As I have explained in prior threads everything you do and I mean everything is monitored.I don't mind that my shopping habits are monitored so much but I try to explain to my kids that there are companies that are paid to check all the "Social websites and some" for things that would make you look bad in the companies eyes. So if you are applying for a school or a job or have a job or up for a promotion and they see something they don't like YOU CAN KISS THAT JOB, SCHOOL OR PROMOTION GOODBYE.Its amazing how easy it is to find dirt on people even if its not really you . People might photo shop a picture of you on FB and it gets out Lets say you work for Coke and it shows you drinking Pepsi. That can be a contract breaker for some companies and your gone.
