Zalgo Text
So... I found this thing called Zalgo Text, but it doesn't work in the forums. It does work in the chat room... Basically, it writes random symbols above and below your letters for you (it uses a text generator), and you copy and paste the message in the chat room and it looks kinda cool.
Just google 'Zalgo Text' and play around with it. Hope to see more of you in the chat rooms now!

Re: Zalgo Text
I haven't seen that in a while.I forgot all about it.There are all kinds of key Stokes that u can use to do these but I don't remember how to do it . If i find the old instructions it might work in the forums as well. You always have cool things to add interesting things to this site. Thanks

Re: Zalgo Text
The specific translator I found used Java to do the 'modification', its possible that other translators use different base code that the forums will recognize. It's doubtful though, since a lot of the features of the board have been turned off to prevent us from posting links and pictures and videos and a lot of other fun stuff that we can just go crazy having fun with.

Re: Zalgo Text
I know there is something else that was fun but don't remember how to do. You are more computer literate than I am so you can probably tell people how its done. You can generate all kinds of symbols with just key strokes. I just can't remember what the key strokes are. It's been years since I used them.

Re: Zalgo Text
Zaigo text (AscII) wreaks havoc on most forms of computer software applications. Some computers can't seem to process out the symbols and dialects, getting hung up, in applications like; C+, C++, html, sql, xtml, xml, etc...Some of the applications use the same symbols to run programs and get confused with the placement. It's no wonder it might be blocked here.
I play a game online that allows for those symbols to be used as players identities. They have to devote two days a week for two hours each day to work out the bugs they cause. Makes for a considerable long playing downtime....

Re: Zalgo Text
Yep to what GG said, it's pretty straight up here. Ya got your selection of emoticons, and the very basic code for bold, italic, and underlined.

I didn't know that GG thank you so much. I will stay clear of them. The last thing I need is more computer issues.

Re: Zalgo Text
Mooant has a brilliant mind, I'm certain he can handle dabbling in things like this.
I haven't been able to invest but just a little time into reading up on it

OK, I'll make it simplier... Press and hold the Alt key, press numbers on the numberpad, release the alt key, see what happens!
