Re: Dressed for a Date
date? what's that??
seriuosly, i just hop in the shower, depending on my mood, and where we are going, and who i am with, i may shave, or i might not...deodorant, cologne, what ever i have on hand, and again depends on the above criteria, whether i'm dressing up, or just wearing jeans and a t-shirt. i ALWAYS change my underwear before a date, sometimes, i even go buy some new ones...

Re: Dressed for a Date
I'm get ready pretty fast. It comes from years of practice. I wash my hair about every other day, and I shower, not bath. Spend about 5 minutes on my makeup, comb and spray my hair. Dressing is quick and simple as well. I like wearing dresses, as they are and comfortable. I have allot of clothes. The dresses fit nicely, grab some nice heels, squirt on a little perfume, and I'm done.
And, I usually drink a couple of beers during this process, and possible a couple of shots before I go out. Like I said, I've had many years of practice. when I was in High School I had 20 minutes to get ready for my prom. My mom felt it necessary to pick a car full of corn prior, so I showered and jumped into my clothes fast!
I know alot of women can take a long time getting ready. One night I went out with my brother, my boss, and his ex-wife (my friend Debbie). I was ready and sitting on the couch, while Debbie was putting hot rollers in her hair. Gary looked at me and asked if I was ready, and I was like, "Yes, I thought so, unless you think I need to do something else?" I was even sick that night, getting over food poisoning.
Bottom line, I can get ready in 15 - 20 min, in and out.

Re: Dressed for a Date
Dressed? Ya actually mean putting clothes on? Well that's just crazy talk. What would my neighbors think, and my friends? Probably think I had a badreaction to some sort of medication, and was't thinking clearly...... Oh, go out? On a date? That's different. Never mind.

Re: Dressed for a Date
OK Sorry I am the girly girl here. I take forever! I start in the afternoon for that evening. I will do a manicure and pedicure(I like doing them myself).
I will sometimes do a facial as well. I will always do my brows if needed. For you guys out there that might be waxing, tweezing and or trimming. They annoy me if they aren't perfect. I will take a shower. In the shower I will shave my legs, under arms and depending on how I am keeping my hair at the time I will do the bikini line or more if needed. I obviously wash then, body scrub. I will wash and sometimes condition my hair. I will use a different wash and facial scrub on my face. when I come out I dry off. I put on self tanner to the body parts requiring that and moisturizer to the rest. I dry my hair, I put on my make up and perfume. I pretty much decide what to wear depending on where we are going that I do easily. If needed I will iron the clothes and hang them to get dressed last. I brush my teeth, floss, scrap my tongue, mouthwash and last minute fix the hair if needed. Put on jewelry. Get dressed and put shoes on. Grab my bag, cell phone and coat. It sounds worse than it is. The whole thing takes tops 2 hours. 3 if I have been really lazy and haven't done some of these things in a while but that's rare.I like taking my time. And you guys like when we look good, smell good and feel good!

Re: Dressed for a Date
Searching memory banks for the last date I went on....
Seriously though I tend to take a natural route to all things, so:
1. Shave wherever needs shaving ( I dislike body hair on me at all)
2. Shower, wash hair, condition
3. Moisturise skin if needed, deodorant and maybe some perfume
4. Fiddle with hair for 10 minutes, luckily I have a cut that looks better when you do less to it.
5. Dress - now the clothes will have been picked out the day before usually and ironed/sorted as needed (although I hate ironing. what I wear depends on where I am going, but I tend towards natural colours (and purple) and comfortable flowing things
Grab a bag filled with essentials and leave
Make up is rare for me, usually only at a formal gathering or Christmas etc, I like good skin and clear eyes and generally no make up
