January is National Soup Month
January is National Soup Month. A fast-food first! Soup has been so popular throughout time that it's actually considered one of the first fast foods. What is your favorite soup?
For me, it is French Onion, Clam Chowder, Broccoli and Cheese, and don't they make one with beer? I know they do.

there are many soups made with beer. Beer Cheese is a very popular soup in this area, it gets topped with popcorn, and is very tasty. but for me, my favorite has been narrowed down to three, pepperjack potato, split pea and ham, and Chili. (i really am not much of a soup eater, but i like these three.)

Theres an old joke about Cream of Broccoli or Cream of Cauliflower soups. But, its a touch on the sophomoric side, so out of respect to the ladies, I'll keep it to myself. And no, it has nothing to do with male sexual secretians.

Wisconsin beer cheese soup. 
I seen about this in a Campbells soup ad. Who'd a thunk it?

here's an easy recipe for a great soup!
REUBEN SOUP
3 c. milk
1 can cream of celery soup
1/2 c. shredded Swiss cheese (2 oz.)
1 (16 oz.) can drained and snipped sauerkraut
1 tsp. caraway seed
1 can corn beef, diced
3 tbsp. butter
4 or 6 slices rye bread
Mix milk, soup and cheese. Simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in caraway seeds, sauerkraut, and beef. Heat almost to boiling point. While soup is cooking butter rye bread and brown crisply on both sides on griddle. Cut up as croutons and sprinkle over soup as it is served.
