Holiday Shopping
Are you done, have you even started?
Are you doing some or all of it online?
We do ours online, mainly because it really simplifies things when most on the list live out of state.

My funds are limited this year, however, I find shopping online fantastic! The gifts are original, and I find some great deals. I let the company ship the packages, which is a huge bonus. I can't stand the lines at the post office. Also, I like sending my sister-in-law an email, asking her to wrap the gifts for me.
Last year, I bought my nephew a little robot, which cost about $40.00. It walked and talked, and the words I heard were, "That's incredible, I've never seen anything like it, it is amazing. He is trying to figure it out, it talks and, he just laughs, and laughs.
The only set back, I don't get to play with the toys first!

I only have one more gift to get,,I have done all online,
26" mountain bicycle for $55 on black fri. 32" flat panel for me,lol $279 black fri. deal. 200 piece drill bit set for dad,brother,and brother inlaw from the sportsmen guide catalog,,$40 each. wind chimes with a solar powered,color changing led light inside a crackled glass,for mom sister,and sister inlaw $30 each in Hartford catalog.
Have fun shopping and you better hurry time is running short,,lol

Ya gotta love online shopping. With the exception of a few minor items, I've gotten everything online.
(Note to self: Send Kiss a toy or two and make sure batteries are included!)

I LOVE shopping, I know, suprise, suprise! I've stayed out of the shoe department as much as I can because the old one for you, two for me doesn't work during the holidays. HA!

This Christmas is the first one without my Pops (Dad) so it is a bit sad. Trying to keep my spirits up...

I am done! Most years I am done before Thanksgiving because I refuse to go into a store after Thanksgiving. I love when the store clerk tries to give me a coupon for Black Friday and I just say keep it, you couldn't pay me to come in on black Friday. I do most of my shopping on-line but having a teenage daughter makes it hard. She likes to look and touch it and drive me crazy before she decides she is going to tell me what she wants. (She does that because she knows I hate to shop unless it's shoes) It also depends on when Chanukah is because we celebrate Christmas and Chanukah we really have to organize and make sure we have enough gifts. 8 gifts for each kid for Chanukah and then we can't have a favorite holiday so another 8 for Christmas.They are normally a mix of big and little stocking stuffer type gifts or it would be insane and I would still be paying them off next year.This year Chanukah was the week after Thanksgiving ggrrrrr. Wrapping all the gifts becomes the hardest part. Make sure you label them well! Every year there are some gifts that get labeled wrong and they just exchange them after they get opened. lol

That consumate smart ass thing is one of your three best attribute. And no, the other 2 aren't your eyes. And the 100 pair of shoes, well although I think its a bit obsessive, I also respect and understand that its a girl thing. However, HowEVER, HOWEVER.........That jar sauce thing is borderline CRIMINAL! Especially since I gave you my recipe. If you need to use a jar, make up a 5 gallon batch and can some home made sauce! I'm especially worried about them l'il childrens! This is child negligence and if you dont change your ways, I'll be contacting CPS on you. I cant condone me sitting back and doing nothing while you poison those poor innocent kiddies!

ok, let's get back to the subject of this thread...if it ever stops snowing, i might be able to get the rest of my holiday shopping finished. i' almost done, but these stupid snow storms keep me from getting to the nearest "big town", with the major stores like Wal-mart and Target, etc....apparently i may end up getting the rest of my gifts at the local ALCO store, but they have a limited inventory, and i can't seem to find that perfect gift i need for the rest of the family. at least i'm finished buying for my kids.....
