Disc Space
So, here we are again---lol
This puter showed that there was 439mb of 7.16Gb available on the "d" disc. That's the one for recovery..
I tried some things including defraging it, created a restore point and doing a "clean up" on it.
Now instead of showing the blue like the used part on the other drives, it's red.
It still says 439mg of 7.16gb available.
The puter definately works better but want to know why it shows red with the same amount used/available.

Re: Disc Space
If it's your recovery drive, this is normal. Just ignore it as it has nothing to do with the operational part of the computer.

Re: Disc Space
Gotta love Windows. I think they invented it to confuse and mess with the majority of people who use computers. I know there is a way to fix what your talking about but would have to ask my computer science kid or other family member as to the specifics. I do know that ignoring it is not a problem most times. My daughters computer did the same thing until she did a full back up onto a separate external drive. Not sure if that will help you. I am not that much of a computer geek . I have people in the family I annoy when I see things that require real computer knowledge. I told my son that's why I had him and raised him to go to college for this crap.

Thanks Newbie. I'm content that it works better. Was terrible slow on start and shutdown. Now it seems better all over.
