FAKE
Is it just me or is there just A LOT of fake people and profiles on here? I mean whats the point of it all?? Anyone else experienced this?? You start talking to someone and then out of no where their profile is all of a sudden deleted.. Just dont understand it all? Anyone else care to elobarate or enlighten me on this matter?

it's possible that someone profile may have been deleted because they were in violation of the rules, such as posting a phone number or other personal contact info in their profile. or maybe this site just wasn't what they were looking for, so they deleted their account. i'm sure there are a few that are fake, because that person is a cam girl, looking to solicit customers to join her pay site.

The mods don't delete a profile for having contact info included, they just delete the contact info.
There are several different 'Cam Girls' that love to prey on this site. They're pretty easy to spot once you notice your pattern, but they are the only ones I know of the mods/admins deleting without much notice. They're only on this site to get you to go to their cam site and steal your credit card information. Basically, they're scam artists.

on occasion, a profile will be deleted, if the member refuses to abide by the rules. but you're right Mooant, the mods can't delete profiles, but we can edit out any info posted in the forums. we can only report it when it's in the actual profile itself. over all, it's up to unf and/or absix whether a profile gets deleted. i have seen accounts be deleted because the member kept using racial slurs, they kept posting in the forums, even after repeated warnings.

We work hard to keep the site a real site for real people only. As Mooant mentioned, yep... we get our share of camgirls and they are pretty easy to spot.
We rarely ever delete anyone unless they are a camgirl, scammer or someone underaged
Some delete their own profile, for allot of reasons.

and yes there are some people who come and go quickly, try things out then maybe change their minds and leave. Like life there are lots of different types of people on here, which is why this is the site I have always chosen to stay on

Wonderful and Masterful, my friend! Tears of laughter streamed down my face this morning. Thank you! On topic though, at a site where this forum thread started in discussing "fake" profiles, how much more appropriate is it to see the post from Wandering5tar; probably one of the most real, and genuinely imaginative persons on this site. Sure there maybe times you find people or profiles not very true or representative of that person on here, everyone previously has helped explain that; but look for and spend time with the ones that truly are the quality ones here. Chats with these people you'll truly enjoy. Wander5tar is just one example.

Okay, I think we've covered the fake profile question, no...they are not allowed and are deleted as soon as possible.
As for the "user no longer registered" part, this site allows people to completely delete their own profiles if they should chose to do so. Many sites don't give you the option of deleting, this allows them to "bloat" their member numbers, even if the members have not been active for years and will never return, they will show up as a full profile in onsite profile searches, leading people to believe that there are far more profile results in their area than really are.
We do try to be real, and straight up here.

Wandering your one of my favorites as well if that helps.
As far as being real...I normally get people wishing I wasn't quit so real and upfront.I'm about as real as you can get.
I find alot of new members expect things to happen and happen fast. Maybe people need to make sure their expectations are realistic. This site has people of all kinds from all over. Like meeting anywhere it takes time to get to know someone and even when you think you have there are times you will find that person was all bullshit, other times they are real but not what you might want or you are not what that person wants. It's to complicated to say what the reasons are in every situation.

Just bumping up, if you truly suspect a profile is fake, message a mod with the username and we'll check it out. If you feel a profile maybe fake because you try to find them, and you get the "sorry, this user cannot be found" error page, then it might be that member either blocked you or decided to use the privacy settings (Do not allow others to view your profile setting)

i was kinda wondering on that part , the "user no longer registered" bit like longtack thought he got booted for some reason, so thgat one is they delated their profile or turned it off?

I'm pretty sure longtack was not deleted, I had no problem with him, he sometimes may have seemed a little too "honest" with his opinions, but I found him easy and rational to talk to about that kind of stuff. I'm pretty certain he deleted his own profile here.
In the forums, you'll see "user no longer registered" if they no longer have a profile, but if try to search by nickname and you see "User name cannot be found" that could mean several things, it could mean the profile has been deleted, or that person has you blocked specifically, or that person has their privacy settings on, or you've mispelled the username in the seach by nickname field.

From what I've seen, the ones that deleate thier profiles then show as 'no longer registered user". Same for those that justchange thier user name. All of thier previous posts will be shown as no longer registered user. 
I know of one that was deleated. If ya click on her user name, it says "no such user". I think the above applies to the persons previous posts.

Yeah, if you look at the thread "hot dogs"....in the index, it'll show ticad as the original poster of that thread and if you click on her name there it'll show "no such user!" , when you click on the thread the first post to start the topic she is shown as "user no longer registered"
If someone is blocking you, or they have their privacy settings on, I think it comes up as something like "Sorry, whatevernickname cannot be found"
