Sunuvabitch!
2 & 1/2 feet of snow over night and another 8-10 inches forecast for today. My lease was up on my Hummer in August and like a DUMB ASS, I got a Chevy HHR. First time in 20 years that I havent had a four wheel drive. WHat the hell was I thinking?

we got light snow falling,guess we're lucky on snow so far,we can get dumped on any time now. thats why i got a explorer lol i hear the ice is 4" thick time to go fishing

4 Wheel Drive just gets you going, it doesn't help you stop. In a sense, you're safer now because you won't be driving like an idiot.

ya thats true , ya goo like heck and cant stop , we did a mail route for 9 years and in winter i would only run the 4 wheeldrive , i could stop better and take off better and i didnt run over mailboxes like the car. but it to depends on the suface your on and your tires, and if your on a ice cover graval road your going to slid better then a paved road coverd in slush. then there's out on the lake lol

Poor Free it's not the car. What were thinking living in Buffalo? I always said you are out of your mind. If it were up to me I would live in the Caribbean or at least Arizona. I hate being cold. The only good thing about being cold is when someone warms you up. Especially in front of a nice warm fire.

Ok, Im not gonna whine, but Im not gonna lie either. This has been a royal pain in the ass. I was telling JCSOS or whatever his new name is (LOL!) The guy that works for me that plows blew out his drive shaft on his truck, so theres still about a 10 foot wall of snow on the entrance to our parking lot. It may still take a few days, but we're tough. My biggest bitch is that it knocked out my satellite dish, and Im a bit of a news junkie. Fortunately, I have a lot of movies and concerts and old episodes of Drew Carey and Family Guy tivo'd. And yeah, a guitar or 2 layin around! With any luck, things will get back to normal this week.

Hey Free, I too am a news junkie. Being that your satellite is down I figured I fill you in a bit. I just saw the news and they said its going to being ridiculously cold and your going to be getting about 15 more inches(Of snow!)over the next couple days. Sorry.... I'm going to Kam's at the end of the month I think you should meet us at his house where there is much less snow and I can warm you up.

And Newbs, thanks for the invite, but if I were going to go anywhere, it would be NOWHERE near any of the Great Lakes. The shit we got dumped on us last week was off of Erie and theyre saying that what we're getting now is blowing in from Huron, which I never remember hearing of before. The forecast for the rest of the week is cloudy, cold and 3-6 inches everyday through Saturday. Shit, we've picked up 6 more inches this morning since I got up!
