Thanksgiving Best
Thanksgiving is a time to feast, and we all have a favorite dish. A golden brown turkey, a type of stuffing, the green been casserole, or something else cool that I'm not gettin. What is your favorite?
And, if you've met me in the lobby, you've learned I really don't cook. Thanksgiving is just about the only time I turn on my oven. But, not this year because I will be a guest at someone's home. I will, however, boil some eggs. Everyone loves my deviled eggs, only won't take the time to make them.

Re: Thanksgiving Best
Girls! For shame! I love to cook! We don't serve turkey during this holiday though, it is always smoked briskett. I do it myself in my pit out back. I make deviled eggs too...yum. I also make a wonderfull peach-apricot cobbler, and home baked bread from scratch not a machine, there is potatoe salad and I will have stuffed red bell peppers too hmmmm! I bake pound cake and pecon pie. I also have a small meadery, so I'll have Danish mead and halibut with a white gravy in Swedish fashion. I'll also have a huge garden salad and Iced slightly sweet tea. I've invited quite a few friends over so I won't be alone. The work is all worth it too. Now if I could just find someone to help me clean up after.....yeah right! Lol

Re: Thanksgiving Best
We normally do dinner at my aunts with the fam. I always make a turkey over the weekend too. Rip it apart, freeze the carcass. Soup and chili for a later date.
