Buzzwords and catchphrases
Name some buzzwords and catchphrases from Movies/TV/advertising that you remember.
(What movie was it, that Kirk Russell made the acromym FUBAR famous?)
Things like "Dyn-O-mite" and "No soup for you!"

Re: Buzzwords and catchphrases
OK this thread is an ad agencies dream. We used to have meetings and tried to come up with new catch lines all the time. Some of the most famous in advertising are....
Where's the beef?
I've fallen and I can't get up!
Let your fingers do the walking.
I could list dozens but I kind of have an advantage being it was part of my job. We used them to prove to clients how important and long lasting their advertising can be.
There were those all so ridiculous jingles as well like...
Plop plop fizz fizz oh what a relief it is....
Or I don't want to grow up I'm a toys r us kid. There's a million toys at toys r us that I can play with like trucks and trains and video games......
One more thing was that if you really market it well you have the whole country singing the ingredients of your sandwich as McDonald's did with the campaign that had a contest attached that you had to sing....
Two all beef patties special sauce lettuce cheese pickles onions on a sesame seed bun.I(I believe this is over 20 years old yet most people that are old enough can still sing this)

Re: Buzzwords and catchphrases
I kinda remember years and years ago, "Whoop there it is" became a popular catch phrase, but I have no idea where it came from? Anyone remember and save me the google time?

Re: Buzzwords and catchphrases
I believe its from a song. I remember a line "party here party there. Party every where." I can't remember who did the original.

Didn't "DUH" come from the Simpsons? I never watch that show, but I've heard the expression.
