just a friendly reminder...
if anyone ever has a problem, or needs help with anything, or wants to report a cam girl or anything at all? just send a message to a moderator. even if i'm not online line here at this site, if i am at my computer, i will get an email notification that i have a new message her, and i usually come online to check it out asap. if i'm not at my computer, i'll still see the nitoce in my email inbox the next time i use my computer. i am generally on here (my computer) all the time except for when i'm at work or sleeping. lol
if i can't help you with your question or problem, i'll be sure to forward it on to some one that can.

Re: just a friendly reminder...
If you want to report a camgirl or spammer, solicitor in the chatroom, go to the offender's profile, scroll down till you see....
"Is this profile violating the rules? Report it!"
It's anonymous, and very easy, a pop up text box will appear, just type in "camgirl" or whatever, and send.
It's not immediate, the reported person's profile will be flagged and checked by a real person before an action is taken. It has to be checked out so we don't end up with bitter angry people making anonymous reports out of spite.
For the record, no...moderators can not delete or edit profiles, it would not be right for us to have that kind of access to your personal account here.
If a moderator is online, contact them directly and/or use the report link, if no one is online at the time, leave a message and/or use the report link, we do log in often.

Re: just a friendly reminder...
Not sure really, there are people here doing things that we don't really know, they are not "members" like we all are, they are here to do a job, answer support tickets, check reported profiles, etc...
Unf of course, Agatha I believe is usually handling support tickets, billing and accounting.
That's why I say "member monitored and moderated" because every profile has the report link for us to use anytime we come across anything wrong and inappropriate in the profiles.
Who checks those flagged profiles? Depends on who's logging in and when.
It's important to use that report link, so the people that do that work, have the flagged profiles to check, notifying a moderator is good for keeping camgirls and solictors out of chat, but for stuff like inappropriate photos, emails and contact info, it's better to just use the report link.
Good question for the support forum, Josie....unf pays particular attention to that forum.

Re: just a friendly reminder...
yeah, it's not immediate if a camgirl gets reported, but when there's one in the chat, if it get's reported directly to us mods, and we're online, we'll go in and ban them....

Re: just a friendly reminder...
Is the a way to know if they are cam girls I know some guys think if you ignore them or if your not typing in chat your a cam girl.I know I wont report someone as a cam girl because I just never know and would hate to have them booted for something that isn't the case. I also noticed we wont see any for a while then they seem to pop up allot all of a sudden is there a reason that happens?
Also what can we do about some of the really rude to say the least people that come into chat that just don't take a NO well. I don't always want them baned I would rather maybe a stern warning might help get them to back off if coming from a moderator. I know I have only had to block 2 people because I am a bit sterner when I tell them to back off but I have seen some that have Killed the room or even had some people crying. They are talented group of smucks. Many times its just a kid that need to be taught manners the hard way but not necessarily kicked off at least not right away.

Re: just a friendly reminder...
by using the term "camgirl" we generally mean someone who comes into the chat and out right solicits someone to go private on their own webcam, and end up pestering people to join their PAY website.
if someone is being rude to you in the chatroom, just use the ignore feature, it's as simple as that.

Their profile usually follows a certain "format"
They are usually 22 or 21 years old, have professional model photos uploaded and an alternate contact in their profile.
We (mods) can see IP addresses in the chatroom. They will say they are from one place, but their IP address says another or their IP is coming through a proxy server.
They will usually, hit up on a guy privately, and try to take lead them off to their cam chat site.

These people are always going to be around, cyberworld and real world. Getting "ignored" by the chatters is far more effective than a warning from a mod. You can write a mod and report them, we share all info so we'll all know who is causing problems and we know to watch for them while we are online. If a mod is logged in at the time, then you can ask that we come in. All of us would be happy to do that.
If no mod is online, then there's the "save chat session" feature, you can copy and paste that to a message to us, and we can see for ourselves what is going on, and decide what to do about it.

Re: just a friendly reminder...
Russian Dating Scams
That's what they are called, but can come from anywhere in the world.
These scammers are different than the camgirls. The scammers work from internet cafes all over the world.
They (usually guys) create profiles, usually a VIP with a stolen card or identity. They work privately one on one rather than in a chatroom. They will create an online relationship with a guy, then over time will start hitting them up for money, money for surgery, money for a broken car, money for rent, money for a plane ticket to come visit.
The message you get from the Russian Dating scammers will be kinda weird, broken English, and often the message reply will make no sense to the original message sent to them. That's because it's a mass operation, they just use from a stash of template messages, and work so quickly that they don't even bother to personalize a reply until they are reasonably sure they have one on the hook.
It's very important to report these scammers, if you suspect you are getting messages from one of these scammers, use the "Help us keep Web Naughty a clean and safe place. Report this message if you feel this is a scam" link that shows up at the bottom of every private message.

Oh Chazzy, you've burst my bubble! I was getting on so well with them; had played online chess with them (I ALWAYS lost); sent them money for English lessons (clever that, eh!).
Mind you, I did think that Boris Spassky was a strange name for a 23 year old leggy blonde...
