Depends on the partner. I like to be in control, but occasionally giving it up can be exciting. 24/7 domination is further than I wish to go.
I like restraining my partner. Having someone tied down for me to tease is HOT!.
I did have a partner that wanted me to tie her up to the point it restricted her circulation. When her body parts started turning purple, that was a bit much.
Also, light spanking is cool. I am not sure I could take it to the point I leave welts.

i've tied a woman up before, and it was pretty hot. it wasn't really tied up, i guess, i have some nylon straps that go under a mattress and have cuffs for the wrists and ankles. as long as i'm not the one being tied down, it's ok.
