Hallowen Celebrations
We are nearly here and I am certainly going to at least one party. A "Rocky Horror Picture Show" themed one no less, will have to break out the stockings again - what a shame!
What party are you or would you throw?

Re: Hallowen Celebrations
I personally wouldn't throw a Halloween party . Mainly because there is a huge parade here that really takes over everything for a few days around Halloween so no one would be at the party. It amazes me that Toms River NJ has the largest Halloween parade I have heard in the country and one news caster said the world. The prep is overwhelming because everyone gets involved. I guess you can say that's a party.
I have been to a Halloween wedding that was so much fun.(Yes a real wedding.) My son was the ring bearer and had to dress as Dracula. The bride was Of course Bride of Frankenstein and the Groom was of Course the Frankenstein Monster. The cake had graves and fingers coming out of it and other such delightful things. I have to admit it was allot of fun. They did have a hard time finding a priest because the church said it was sacrilegious. I just thought it was silly and fun . All the guests came in costume as well.
I wouldn't mind going to that party with you Josie. I love the Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Re: Hallowen Celebrations
Nothing special on Halloween night, but this time of year, I love having candy in the house, watching classic scarey movies, ghost stories...and afterwards, I'll get such a kick out the emails I get from friends and families with photos attached of their children in their costumes.
It's a cool holiday.

Re: Hallowen Celebrations
the grade school next store just had its party last night i spent the day worring about the widowmaker in the tree top and wires and hoped it crash down on someone or some kid. im nor sure when trick or treating is but we are ready and stocked with candy , we haven had any since our own kids had left. but as to partys all the bars have some kind of parties and dinners on holloween and this year everything lands on the weekend, may even dress up and go out, it been awhile and need to unwind but no drinking and driving rule number one,,, and i have two bars we can walk to too....
