Oh the HORROR !!
Which is your favorite old or new Halloween or Horror movie?
They are airing right now.
Frankenstein - It's alive! It's alive!...Boris Karloff stars in the legendary 1931 horror classic.
Dracula - Bela Lugosi sinks his fangs into the role that made him a star in the original 1931 version of the vampire classic.
And, I love the old Abbott and Costello "Meet Dracula, Frankstein, and the Werewolf"

Re: Oh the HORROR !!
To many to name, I love horror movies. I like the early Jason "Friday the 13th" movies. Alfred Hitchcock's "Psycho." Freddy Kruger in the "Nightmare on Elm St."
But the one that scared me and I will not watch it to this day alone, is "The Exorcist." I went home that night and for weeks I was just waiting for rapping's in the attic.

Re: Oh the HORROR !!
I'm with ya on "The Exorcist".... scariest movie ever.
I don't like slasher movies, but I love a good scarey movie or a good thriller.
"The Ring" ...the story wasn't that special, but the production and directing made it so dark and haunting.
That was one creepy little girl.
Even though I don't like slasher type of movies, can't deny that the original, first "Halloween" with Jamie Lee Curtis is a classic.

Re: Oh the HORROR !!
Watched Saw VI the other night.
I don't usually scare easily, but when this fat guy and the young black woman started to hack their 'pounds of flesh' off themselves with knives (off his belly) and a cleaver(her arm) to see who would live...I felt every bit of their pain.My mouth was open as far as it went, my stomach was clenching and twisting..
And this was just the first 5 minutes!

Sorry Honey I had to steel your list and add The Shinning, Twilight series, Lord of the Rings series, and the Harry Potter series.
My list was shorter then I watched The Prophecy and the Order with you . I really liked them. There are a few Disney movies too about "Halloween Town" I think that's what its called. (I suck at names.) I don't like horror but I like suspense. I know real scary stuff huh. OK not scary but at least most have either vampires or magic or something I can say is Halloween related. Although the one that is the MUST watch on Halloween out of this list is always the Rocky Horror Picture show the others are add ons after that.

Re: Oh the HORROR !!
There's the friday the 13th, Elmstreet movies which never scare me as they are about gore. Gore isn't scary, I can get the story without seeing a throat slowly slit, no need for the graphics...I recall 13 ghosts too as a kid and it scared me. Christopher Lee played Dracula years ago and he was the first "Animalistic" Vampire rather then the gentleman type, he scared the crap out of me!!!The eyes! Yikes!..when he showed up in the Lord of the Rings movies I was amazed as I figured he'd been long since passed away! So cool...as soon as I saw the eyes I knew it was him. Anyway, the best dracula in my opinion.
