Your Home Town..
Without getting into specifics...how big or small is the area you live in? I see ya'll can just run into town if ya need something. Here, at 4000ft, it's a 52 mile round trip to the closet town and the population is 219 spread over a 6 mile area on a curvy narrow 1-2 lane road...

Re: Your Home Town..
Not much more populated than yours Lev, tiny, lots of trees, I'm on the edge of it, so just one house on my right, then it's all farm land.

Re: Your Home Town..
Slighty different for me over here, but I love where I live:
My area has a population of around 164,000. 85% of the district is rural and contains both historic towns and Villages as well as all the modern shops and services you need. The part I actually live in is one of the largest towns, but since we both work in the Public Sector it is useful to be so close to work

Re: Your Home Town..
It is still small but has grown. We have two red lights. We've grown from a Hamburger Factory, (which was a big deal) before we dined at the Jiffy Store. Now all the modern stores, first came Pizza Hut, a lot of memories there. We don't have a movie theater, but we do have a bowling alley. I drove by one bar everyone use to go to and it looks like a box. It must be about 800 sq. ft.
Our town is known for caladiums, the Tower, murals, retirees, and 27 lakes. Great if you like to mud bog, frog or gator gig, and air boating. Yee Haa!!
