Sexomnia
I just saw this on an episode of Strange Sex. Like sleep walking, this is having sex in your sleep with no knowledge of it. They stated that there have been cases of people afflicted with it who have walked into strangers houses for sex and never even knew they left their bed. Anyone heard of this before?

Re: Sexomnia
Good observation Josie.
Is that the episode where this one woman was just having her ex visit for just popcorn and a rental movie, but would doze off and get really freaky with him and not remember it?

Re: Sexomnia
I think so. I was on the phone and missed the lead in on it, but there was a pretty black girl talking about having sex with her ex and having no recollection of it

Re: Sexomnia
That's the one! She was a cutie, she just couldn't understand why her ex was acting on mixed signals, cuz she couldn't remember a thing.

Re: Sexomnia
that might explain how those stories of women giving birth, when they didn't even know they were pregnant...maybe they were having sex while they were still asleep?

Re: Sexomnia
I have never had intercourse in my sleep as far as I know. However I do masturbate and cum in my sleep. When I was first told about it I thought he was full of shit. I knew that I would wake up many times masturbating but always thought I was just to drowsy to remember actually starting. I started researching this and found its not all that uncommon. I know the first time I ever had a man go down on me I woke up to him doing it. (I became an instant fan!) I have then decided as I have stated many times that that should be my alarm clock. There is no way to be in a bad mood when you are woken up like that no matter what time or how much sleep you have had.
Many things that I have come across or had happen I used to say "no way" those people have to be faking it. Until I experienced it. Amnesia and sleep whatever being sex, eating, driving, etc... are some of them. I had an accident 15 years ago I still don't remember. I know when I take sleeping pills I don't remember almost anything from about 20 minutes after I take them. So it is perfectly reasonable in my mind to be able to have sex or just about anything else and not know I have done it. That is why in my case I always let someone I trust know when I take a sleeping pill. This is a known side affect by the way. They have documented people doing everything from eating and shopping to having sex and even driving in their sleep after taking an Ambien.
It is actually a bit unnerving.Unfortunately at times I have no choice but to take them and deal with it. For those who have dealt we these things it is interesting but not always fun or funny. It can actually lead to some dangerous situations.

Re: Sexomnia
I mentioned this movie in chat recently.
It's on DVD and called In My Sleep(stars Philip Winchester, Beth Grant, Lacey Chabert)and involves this guy who had a history of sleepwalking. He discovers blood and a knife in his bed one morning and had no recollection of how it got there.
Handcuffs himself to the bed to help determine if he is sleepwalking.
His best friend's wife was murdered with a knife.
And she knew he'd had sex with her one night.
Won't say any more to avoid giving the mystery away.
